Noah and Lot Parallels with Rapture

Our Lord Jesus said, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” (Mat 24:37-39).

He also said, "It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed." (Luk 17:28-30)

Let’s look at the parallels between what happened with Noah and Lot, and what will happen at the rapture.

Once Noah and his family were in the ark with the animals and God closed the door, the judgment came suddenly in the form of a global flood that destroyed all the wicked (Gen 7:20-23; 2 Pe 3:6)	The day Lot left Sodom, judgment came suddenly in the form of fire and brimstone from heaven that destroyed the wicked in that city (Gen 19:24-25; Lk 17:29)	On the day the Son of Man is revealed (rapture), the hour of trial (time of punishment) will come upon the whole earth to test the inhabitants of the earth (Lk 17:30; 21:22; Rev 3:10). Also the heavens and earth are reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly (2 Pe 3:7)
Noah and his wife, along with their three sons and their wives were saved from destruction, along with the animals that were in the ark with them (Gen 8:1, 16, 18)	Lot and his two daughters were saved from destruction, because God remembered righteous Abraham and his prayers for the righteous (Gen 19:29)	Only the righteous who are ready for the rapture will be saved from the punishment that is going to come upon the whole world (Mt 24:40-41; Mk 13:37; 1 Thes 4:16-17; )

Closing Words

Based on this analysis, we can clearly see parallels between what happened in the days of Noah, in the days of Lot, and what will happen at the time of the rapture, as the Lord Jesus Himself explicitly pointed out.  As the apostle Peter wrote, what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah was an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly after the rapture (2 Pe 2:6).

The people in society today have become very wicked, just as in the days of Noah and Lot. God has determined the need for judgment. There are very few who will be ready for the rapture. God has given advance warning about all of this to the righteous, which is written in His Word. There are also many people receiving dreams, visions, and prophecies about what is coming upon the earth, according to Acts 2:17.

God has commanded us to make advance preparations to escape the judgment by being ready for the Lord’s return. He has also instructed those in Judea to flee for the mountains at a certain point, and for those in the city to get out. This is for a specific point in time when the abomination of desolation occurs and Jerusalem is surrounded by armies. Getting out of the cities and fleeing to the mountains may apply not only to those in Judea, but also to believers throughout the world.

The Lord will command His holy angels to gather the elect to Christ when He comes in the clouds of glory. 

We know that the heavens and earth are reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. For Scripture says:

"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat." (2Pe 3:10-12)

"So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him." (2Pe 3:14)

 

God has not appointed us to suffer His wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thes 5:9). But only the righteous who are ready for the rapture will be saved from the punishment that is going to come upon the whole world. Only those who make every effort to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with Him, and only those who live holy and godly lives will be ready.

Therefore, we must obey the Lord, make our advance preparations both naturally and spiritually, come out from Babylon and be separate from the world, touch no unclean thing, be careful and always on the watch, pray, and be on guard. 

Some may call this an escapist mentality, but this is the Scriptural pattern. Noah escaped just in time from the flood. Lot escaped just in time from the fiery catastrophe that came upon Sodom and Gomorrah. And Jesus said it would be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed (Lk 17:30). He said to pray that you may be able to escape all that is coming to pass and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man when He comes (Lk 21:36). Please make sure you are ready when Jesus comes. You have been warned.

Darkened Skies in the Last Days

During the last days, the skies will be darkened to the point where it will be like midnight in the middle of the day. Many people have seen this in visions and dreams, but here are some Scriptures that say so.

Jesus said, "Immediately after the distress of those days 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'" (Mat 24:29)

"The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine." (Joe 3:15)

"I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD." (Joe 2:30-31)

"Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand— a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness..." (Joe 2:1-2a)

"Will not the day of the LORD be darkness instead of light, Even gloom with no brightness in it?" (Amo 5:20)

"In that day," declares the Sovereign LORD, "I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight." (Amo 8:9)

"The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light."  (Isa 13:10)

"I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone. I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying. I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away. I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the LORD, before his fierce anger. This is what the LORD says: 'The whole land will be ruined, though I will not destroy it completely. Therefore the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will not relent, I have decided and will not turn back.' At the sound of horsemen and archers every town takes to flight. Some go into the thickets; some climb up among the rocks. All the towns are deserted; no one lives in them." (Jer 4:23-29)

"Give glory to the LORD your God before He brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but He will turn it to utter darkness and change it to deep gloom." (Jer 13:16)

"When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light. All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you; I will bring darkness over your land, declares the Sovereign LORD." (Eze 32:7-8)

"The great day of the LORD is near— near and coming quickly. The cry on the day of the LORD is bitter; the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry. That day will be a day of wrath— a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness— a day of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers. 'I will bring such distress on all people that they will grope about like those who are blind, because they have sinned against the LORD. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their entrails like dung. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the LORD's wrath.' In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth." (Zep 1:14-18)

"When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss." (Rev 9:2)

"I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind." (Rev 6:12-13).

The following passage also seems to allude to the time of the Lord's return:

"The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry. Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it. He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet. He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind. He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him— the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning. The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded. He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning he routed them. The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at your rebuke, LORD, at the blast of breath from your nostrils. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me." (Psa 18:7-17)

Closing Words
Based on these Scriptures, we know a day is definitely coming when the sky will be completely darkened, and this will be a sign of Christ's soon return. It will be a day of clouds and blackness, a day of darkness and gloom.

On a related note, this same phenomenon occurred when Jesus hung upon the cross, two thousand years ago, and took the punishment for our sins. He felt what it was like to be forsaken by God at that moment. It says:

"At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?' (which means 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?')." (Mar 15:33-34)

No greater love has any man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. Jesus Christ laid down His life for you. Sin separates us from God, and Jesus took all our sins upon Himself on the cross. He took the punishment for our sins, so that we don't have to spend eternity in hell, separated from God. He died for us and rose again, so that all who believe in Him would not perish but have eternal life.

Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near. Don't delay your decision. It's going to get dark soon. Call upon Jesus' name today. Believe me, you don't want to go through the Great Tribulation with its darkness and separation from God. That will be the hour when darkness reigns on the earth. And if you die without Christ, then you will be doomed to spend eternity in hell. Yes, hell is real, and the reason I am warning you is that I don't want you to go to that terrible place. I want you to come to know, as I have, that Jesus' light is greater than the deepest darkness.

Something is Going on in 2017

I have previously written articles like Something is Going on in 2012 and Something is Going on in 2013, which cover major signs of the times that were happening around the world during those two years. If you haven't seen the videos in those two articles, I highly recommend you do so. But what you are about to see is a current video montage from the Signs of the Times (SOTT) channel that will probably amaze you. It primarily shows events that have been happening throughout the world during September 2017, and it proves there has clearly been an acceleration of the signs. Both the magnitude and the frequency seem to have increased, so that what has happened just during the last month seems comparable to what previously would have happened over the course of an entire year!

In my recent articles called The Contractions Are Coming Closer Together and The Vegas Massacre Marks a New Chapter for America, I wrote only about the devastating tragedies that had happened here in the US during the period from August 30th to October 1st, and how they were a sign indicating that we are now closer than ever to Christ's return. Yet those events, such as Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria, and the Vegas Massacre were events on US soil only. However, in the following video, SOTT shows footage from around the world of events like these:

• At least 74 wildfires raged in 8 Western US states, over a million acres were burnt. These were the deadliest wildfires in history. There were 31 dead and hundreds missing. In the Napa and Sonoma areas around 3,500 homes and businesses were destroyed. 
• Wild fire on Gran Canaria burnt over 2,000 hectares.
• Structures destroyed as nearly 100 bushfires burn across New South Wales Australia.
• Australia shivers through record coldest start to September.
• Strange sounds heard in Illinois sky.
• Mysterious "trumpet" sound heard in Iranian sky. This phenomenon has been occurring since 2012 as I have written in Trumpet Sounds Heard Around the World.
• Hurricane Irma becomes most powerful hurricane ever in the Atlantic, wreaks havoc in Florida and the Caribbean. 
• Hurricane Maria reaches category 5, hits Dominica and Puerto Rico, causes island-wide power outages, as well as massive damage in Barbuda..
• Hurricane Max hits Mexico.
• Magnitude 8.1 earthquake in Mexico, strongest in a century kills 61.
• Magnitude 7.1 earthquake in Mexico kills 369, destroys 380 buildings, damages thousands of others.
• Damage caused by baseball-sized hail in North Carolina.
• Golf ball-sized hail hits Split, Croatia.
• Intense hail storm leave 50 centimeters of accumulation in Teruel, Spain.
• Severe hail storm hits Hoedspruit, South Africa.
• Two moons seen on giant asteroid as it passed between earth and our moon.
• Huge landslide in India.
• Severe downburst hits Santa Barbara, California.
• Microburst hits Mendota, California.
• 800 lightning bolts strike San Francisco, California in one day.
• Rare "ball lightning" in New York.
• Sinkholes opening up under homes and on highways around the world.
• Fireballs lighting up skies over USA, Canada, Russia, Spain, Mauritius, Reunion Island, Netherlands, etc.
• African floods kill 25 times more people than Hurricane Harvey.
• Sun releases strongest solar flare in a decade.
• Water spouts pop up all over Lake Erie, Michigan.
• Water spouts appear on Oregon's coast.
• Earth flowing like lava through a Tibetan valley.
• Huge swarm of locusts devastate a large swath of farmland in southern Russia.
• Hundreds evacuated as Trift Glacier collapses in Switzerland.
• Flash flooding in Karachi, Pakistan.
• 15 inches of rain in 4 hours triggers killer floods in Livorno, Italy.
• Severe flood hits Zadar, Croatia after 11 inches of rain in 24 hours.
• Tropical storm Maring floods metro area of Manila, Philippines. 
• Huge floods hit Malaysia.
• Severe flash flooding in Laos as dam under construction bursts.
• Floods and sinkholes in Queretaro, Mexico after heavy rain.
• Severe rain and flooding inundates Rize, Turkey
• Landslide destroys freeway in Pueblo, Mexico.
• Storm kills 3 people in Germany with hurricane-force winds.
• Typhoon kills 4 in Vietnam, over 100,000 homes damaged.
• Typhoon Talim causes flooding and landslides in Japan.
• Intense wind suddenly hits Romania, 5 killed, dozens injured.
• Enormous turtle found on Spanish beach.
• Dead whale found on beach in Nakhodka, Russia, and the next day a dead whale found on Oslo Beach in South Africa.
• Indonesia's Mount Sinabung spews massive plumes of ash 2.5 km into air.
• Mexico's Popocatépetl volcano erupts, sending a cloud of vapor and ash 1.2 miles into the air.

While I have not listed these in chronological order, the video does show them in the order they actually happened, and provides dates for each one, which further adds to the significance of them when you see how closely to each other they all happened. Amazingly, all of these things happened during essentially the same period when the US was experiencing three major hurricanes, the tragic Vegas shooting, and the California wildfires. While these tragedies were probably enough to shake and overwhelm most Americans, they were only the tip of the iceberg in relation to all the other terrifying events happening across the world during the same time frame.

"I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord." (Joel 2:30-31, NIV)

Putting it All Together
The signs you have seen in this video during the month of September are wonders in the heavens and on the earth. They are blood and fire and billows of smoke. If you can't understand from these signs that we stand on the brink of the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord, then I don't know what it will take for you to understand. It's obvious that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back very, very soon.

Meanwhile, the Church is astray doing things that God has commanded us not to do, and neglecting the things God has commanded us to do. The world has been allowed into the Church. The people of God have become comfortable in sin. God is not happy. Jesus is not happy. The Lord is angry, and He is letting the world know.

The message is still the same. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near. Jesus is coming back for His Bride, but He is coming only for the holy ones -- those who are without spot or wrinkle. He is not coming for those who are lukewarm or for those who have cast His Word behind their back. He is coming for those who keep God’s commands, hold fast their testimony about Jesus, and remain faithful to Him. Are you ready? Will you be found faithful? When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?

Wars and Rumors of Wars

For years now there has been talk about World War III, which is what I'd like to discuss today. The very fact that it has been rumored about so much and for so long is a sign of the times in itself. For the Lord said that before he returns there will be wars and rumors of wars. He said, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come." (Mt 24:6, NIV).

There is speculation that WWIII could begin at any moment. In fact, it may have already begun when the initially unnamed war on ISIS in Iraq and Syria began in 2014, which is now called Operation Inherent Resolve. Russia also has troops on the ground in Syria, as well as planes flying airstrikes, and warships offshore in the Mediterranean Sea. In fact, they claim to have Spetsnaz Special Forces working covertly within ISIS, helping to call in the airstrikes. The effectiveness of the Russian airstrikes may have helped provide leverage to negotiate the recent cease-fire in the Syrian civil war, which at this time seems to be partially holding. Interestingly, Russia is supporting their ally, Syrian President Assad, and a different set of combatants in the civil war than the ones the United States is supporting, so the US and Russia are fighting on different sides of the war.

Whether Operation Inherent Resolve and the war against ISIS will be the beginning of WWIII remains to be seen. But ever since September 11, 2001, the US has been at war against Islamic militants, and there seems to be no end in sight. Moreover, the fact that ISIS has publicly declared their goal of establishing an Islamic state globally means that all nations who do not agree to accept that goal have a stake in the war against ISIS.

Aside from the war on terror, there is the issue of the US military being spread too thinly around the world. Presently the US military, primarily Special Forces, are involved in 134 wars around the world, which covers 70% of the world's nations. Meanwhile the U.S. military is aging, shrinking in size, and only “marginally able” to defend America’s vital national interests. It is no longer able to fight two wars at once, can no longer guarantee its ability to win one war, and is being reduced in numbers to pre-World War II level.

Moreover, the American moral crisis has severely weakened the US military. The country has turned away from God. It has despised and ignored the prophets the Lord has sent to it. The stench of its sins, and the blood of the innocents is crying out, and is continually before God's face. The Church is lukewarm, adulterous, reprobate, and apostate. The US military has become an anti-Christian institution, and it is suffering from a suicide epidemic.

Meanwhile, in the midst of all this, China has continued to flex its military muscles in various ways. One thing that comes to mind is the time in April 2001 when one of their fighter jets rammed a US reconnaissance plane in International airspace off the coast of China, which caused it to make an emergency landing on the Chinese island of Hainan in the South China Sea. There have been other similar acts of belligerence since then against US aircraft and ships at sea. And Chinese ships have been spotted right off the west coast of the US. There was a mysterious ballistic missile launched off the coast of California in 2010, which some speculate was from a Chinese submarine. But more recently five Chinese military ships were seen off the coast of Alaska while Obama was visiting there in September 2015. The Pentagon confirmed the presence of the ships in the Bering Sea between Alaska and Russia, and it was believed to be the first time Chinese military ships have been seen in that area, which is a sign of China's global presence extending far from its own borders. Then in October 2015 a Chinese attack submarine tracked a US aircraft carrier south of Japan. In May 2016, Chinese fighter jets dangerously passed within 50 feet of a US reconnaissance plane over the South China Sea. As you can see, China has a long, track record of provocations. In terms of global fire power, China is now rated as the third most powerful military in the world.

Furthermore, since 2012, the Chinese have also been on a major buying spree, in a push to purchase significant amounts of US infrastructure, commerce, and natural resources. Their progress on this front has been astounding, and they now own major businesses in America, as well as vast amounts of prime real estate, including US ports. One example of a business front used for incursion into America is the China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO), which is controlled by the People’s Republic of China. This communist-owned company already owns vital ports in Long Beach, Calif. and Boston, Mass.

Russia, the largest ally of China, and the second most powerful military force in the world, has been busy, too, in its military activities related to America. In April 2014, a Russian intelligence-gathering ship was seen off the US coast and near the Gulf of Mexico. Then in September 2014, Russian, long-range bomber planes practiced bombing flights to North America. Then in September and October 2015, a Russian spy-ship made it's way down the entire east coast of the US, in conjunction with submarines that came dangerously close to US underwater cables used for communicating intelligence information. It is believed that the Russians were mapping out the location of the cables, so that they could cut them in the event of tension or conflict. This level of activity from Russia was similar to what we saw during the Cold War era.

Then there were the week-long, Chinese-Russian, joint naval drills at sea in April 2015, which included an amphibious landing of amphibious and airborne troops, as well as firing their warships' guns. After that came the massive, V-Day military parade that China held in Beijing in September 2015, where Vladmir Putin, the Russian Prime Minister stood beside Chinese President Xi Jinping in the reviewing stand. Since Jinping had attended the Moscow Victory Day Parade in May 2015 as Putin's guest-of-honor (photo above), he returned the favor at this parade, in which China showcased around 12,000 troops, 500 military vehicles and over 200 military aircraft, including weapons systems never before seen in public.

I give all of this as background to help you understand that the world is at war, ISIS is on the move, posing a major threat, Russia and China are displaying their military might, acting subversively toward America, and the Cold War between the US and Russia is in full progress once again. This is the context for the prophecies I am about to share with you about the coming invasion of America by Russia and China.

First of all, in 1973 David Wilkerson had a vision of an economic collapse followed by a Russian invasion of America via a hydrogen holocaust. He also had another vision in 1985 of an economic collapse, followed by an attack from Russia, in which a hydrogen holocaust will engulf America in one hour. He also had subsequent visions in 1992 and 2009 of calamity and judgment on America.

Secondly, in the 1980's, a Romanian pastor named Dumitru Duduman had a vision of the US being attacked by Russia and destroyed by nuclear weapons. He was told that the US is mystery Babylon depicted in Revelation 17-18, and that certain US cities like San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, and New York are modern-day Sodom and Gomorrahs. He was shown that in one day America will burn.

Thirdly, around 1986, Henry Gruver had a vision of the US being invaded and totally destroyed by the Russian and Chinese. He saw a sea and air invasion would occur, including attacks with nuclear weapons and nerve gas. He was shown the Russian submarines very close to the US east coast firing nuclear missiles at cities in the US.

Fourthly, in 1985, Dr. Maurice Sklar had a vision of America as Mystery Babylon being destroyed by fire. He was told to release the vision to warn people, so they might flee from the wrath to come.

Finally, in 2013, I wrote an article titled America’s Destruction is at Hand, regarding a dream I had about war coming to America, as well as some visions of others that the Lord led me to include in that post about sudden destruction coming upon this nation. 

Putting it All Together
You can choose to believe these visions or not, but they all speak of the same thing, which is that America is marked for judgment by God. And we are closer now to that time of fiery judgment than we have ever been before.

When you combine all of this with the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster and it's dire consequences, as well as the The End Time Plagues that are currently happening, and the way the earth and its environment are experiencing multiple, severe crises, it's clear that we are in a time of distress such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world, which God created, until now and never will be again! Those with understanding will understand that these are signs of the times we live in. They point to the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back right away. 

If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time to repent and believe in Him. Now is the time to turn from sin and follow Him. If you are a believer, but you are not walking with the Lord as you should or you are backslidden into sin, then now is the time to wake up and repent, for the kingdom of God is near. Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices. Forsake your love of the world. Return to the Lord and He will return to you.

The Lord is coming back right away, but He is only coming for a holy people -- those living a holy life. Most of the Church has become apostate and rejected the truth. Please don't assume you are in good standing with God. Ask Him to search your heart and expose anything that is hidden that must go. Then when He does, repent. Don't delay. This could be your final warning!

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.
