The Three Days of Darkness

As I have written about recently in my article about the Many Revelations Concerning September 2025 Rapture, the resurrection of the dead, which includes the rapture of the Bride of Christ, is imminent, and all indications point to it actually happening this month during the Feast of Trumpets on September 23rd or 24th.

However, immediately before the rapture, there will be three days of darkness that will occur globally, and you must prepare yourself for this time, especially spiritually, because it will be a terrifying darkness that can be felt, as God allows demons to be unleashed upon the earth.

Here is what the prophet Isaiah prophesied about this period immediately preceding the rapture:

“But your dead will live, LORD; their bodies will rise— let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy— your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead. Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer.” (Isa 26:19-21)

In this passage, Isaiah speaks of the resurrection of the dead, and the rapture, as well as the fall of planet earth.  Let's look at each one of those things separately:

Resurrection of the Dead
“But your dead will live, LORD; their bodies will rise— let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy… the earth will give birth to her dead…”

That's pretty clear, and does not require any explanation. This is the moment when the dead in Christ, followed by the living saints, will be changed suddenly in the twinkling of an eye.

"Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality." (1Co 15:51-53)

All the saints who are ready-- the Bride of Christ, will receive their glorified bodies. Our natural bodies will be transformed to be like the glorious body of Jesus. As Paul said:

"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body." (Php 3:20-21).

Are you eagerly awaiting our Savior from heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ?

Rapture
The expression, “your dew is like the dew of the morning” seems to be a reference to both the resurrection of the dead and the rapture of the living saints, since dew evaporates and rises to the sky when the sun comes up. It disappears from the earth. Likewise, the bodies of the dead in Christ and those of the living saints who are ready will disappear from the earth, as we rise to meet the Lord in the air, just as the apostle Paul explained in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, indicating that the rapture (Gr. harpazo, catching away) of the living saints will occur right after the dead are raised. He wrote:

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." (1Th 4:16-17)

Three Days of Darkness
Isaiah also prophesied about the three days of darkness in that same context regarding the resurrection of the dead and the rapture. He wrote:

Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins.” (Isa 26:20).

This will be like the plague of darkness that happened right before the exodus of Israel, except this one will occur right before the exodus of the Church:

“Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egypt—darkness that can be felt.’ So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days. No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.” (Exo 10:21-23).

Back to the passage in Isaiah now. During this time, as Isaiah said, the saints must go inside their houses, shut the doors behind them, hide themselves for a little while (three days) until the wrath of God has passed. This is the only period of God's wrath that we will experience, which is actually the birth pains leading up to the rapture that will be followed immediately by the Great Tribulation, a seven-year period of terrible suffering on earth during which God's judgments and wrath will be poured out.

Isaiah 26:19 in the Greek Septuagint version (LXX) says literally: "Resurrect the dead and rise (arise) in the tomb and celebrate (cheer) in the earth; the for dew the from (by, alongside) of you (your) healing (remedy) he (him) be though (while) earth the irreverent fall."

Now let me translate that...

Here is my own personal and very literal translation: "Resurrect the dead and arise in the tomb and celebrate (cheer) in the earth; for your dew is healing him while the irreverent earth falls."

Deep AI Labs translation of the koine Greek (much better than mine): “The dead will rise, and those in the tombs will be raised, and those on earth will rejoice, for the dew from above will be their healing, but the earth of the ungodly will fall. The earth of the wicked shall fall.”

That is what Isaiah prophesied in 26:19, according to the Greek translation of the Old testament known as the Septuagint.

Videos
Please don't think this is a myth, because it's not. See these videos below on the three days of darkness that will happen right before the rapture. So if the rapture occurs this month on Sept 23rd or 24th as all signs indicate it will, making it a "high watch period," then the 3 days of darkness would immediately precede that time. So please prepare. If you are traveling, it would be wise to plan to be back home to be with your family BEFORE the three days of darkness begins, so that you can help them through this terrifying time of testing for the saints, as well as the world.

I also listened to the video testimony of sister Hlengiwe Mchunu on the Centtwinz TV, which was outstanding. This sister in Christ testified that the Lord told her during the first week of January 2024 that the rapture would happen on September 23rd or 24th of 2025, but she didn't tell anyone until now. In fact, she had not heard anything about the testimony of brother Joshua Mhlakela until two weeks prior to her interview on this program. And when someone first told her about it, she didn't want to see it, because she was still fighting with God about knowing the season of the rapture, and was herself very skeptical of what she had heard about brother Joshua. But she said that after she watched his testimony, then she knew this was from the Lord and that she had to come out and disclose what the Lord had shown her last year. She saw the days of darkness in a vision and speaks about that toward the last part of the interview. Key parts of the interview are at the following time stamps in the video: 35:00 - 42:48 and 52:47 - 57:10, as well as 59:52 - 1:01:18.

DO NOT go outside during the three days of darkness, as the enemy will have things to bait people into going outside, so they can be attacked and possibly killed. Stay inside with the doors locked and windows covered. Spend time in worship and prayer, rejoicing, watching and praying, and do not open the door for anyone, not even black-eyed children (demons in disguise) pretending to need help.

I have also created a playlist, and will add more to it as I go along, so you can check this link later in case I have added more to these above four. Link to playlist.

I hope you will take time to read my previously mentioned article on the Many Revelations Concerning September 2025 Rapture, which highlights 34 compelling confirmations that the rapture of the Bride of Christ may occur this month on the 23rd or 24th. I made a short video introducing this article that has received thousands of views by the grace of God, which you can find here at this link. And I encourage you to read the related articles about the converging events like the Seven-year Peace Deal at September UN Summit and the signs indicating that the time of Jacob's Trouble is about to Be Fulfilled, also known as the Great Tribulation.

Scriptures
In addition to what I have already shared from Isaiah, 1 Thessalonians, and 1 Corinthians, here are some additional Scriptures to consider:

Jesus said, "Immediately after the distress of those days "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'" (Mat 24:29)

"But in those days, following that distress, "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;" (Mar 13:24)

"'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Act 2:17-21)

Closing Words
Look up, saints, for your redemption draws near!

I recommend that you please take this article with all of the other prophecies and revelations to the Lord in prayer, and ask Him to confirm to you for yourself whether they are from Him or not. Let's not be like the Sadducees and Pharisees, whom Jesus criticized as hypocrites, because they could not interpret the signs of the times, even though they could discern weather patterns in the sky (Mt 16:3; Luke 12:56).

We should always be ready for Jesus' return at any time, watching, praying, and keeping our lamps burning (see video); but I think these many confirmations should put us all on high alert for the rapture this September. I am not saying the rapture will occur in September, although I think the probability is extremely high that He will do so. In fact, I think the chances of the rapture not occurring this year are approaching zero, and I would be very surprised if it doesn't happen. I sense in my spirit, as most of us do, that the time of the rapture is very near, and certainly hope it happens this fall.

Whether you believe it or not, one thing is for sure -- Jesus is coming back soonYou need to get your life right with Jesus right now. Give your life to Jesus before the rapture happens and before the Great Tribulation begins. Repent and return to the Lord with fasting and prayer, seeking His face with all your heart, proving your repentance by your deeds.

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"

Understanding the Times

Jesus said, “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as the twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.”  (Mk 13:28).  We need to develop a similar ability to understand the times by what we see, hear, and sense in our spirit.

We must not be like the religious leaders of Jesus' day, who could not discern the signs of the times (Mt 16:2-3). Instead, we must be like the sons of Issachar spoken of in the Bible, who understood the signs of the times, and knew what their nation should do (1 Chr 12:32).

There are various times and seasons that occur on God's timeline.  Some people don't believe there is any such thing as dispensations, but it is right in the Bible. For example, there is "the times of the Gentiles."  Jesus said, "They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." (Lk 21:24, NIV).  The times of the Gentiles began with the salvation of Cornelius and his household in Acts 10, and it continues until it is fulfilled at a future date that is soon approaching.

There is "the time of Jacob's trouble." Jeremiah said, "How awful that day will be! No other will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it." (Je 30:7, NIV).  This is also called the time of punishment.  "For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written." (Luk 21:22, NIV). This period runs concurrent with the time of great distress, known as the Great Tribulation. "For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again." (Mt 24:21). This period will last for a time, times, and a half time, during which the antichrist will reign on earth.

"He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time." (Dan 7:25, NIV).

"The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, 'It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.'” (Dan 12:7, NIV).

"When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus." (Rev 12:14-17, NIV)

The Time of His Return
Jesus said regarding the timing of His future return, “Be on guard.  Be alert.  You do not know when that time will come.” (Mk 13:33). Jesus said that in these last days, there will be “days of vengeance, so that all things which are written will be fulfilled.” (Luk 21:22b).

Just as there were the days of Moses, the days of Noah, and the days of Elijah, there will be the days of the Son of Man, when Jesus returns.  And He said to the disciples, "The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. "They will say to you, 'Look there! Look here!' Do not go away, and do not run after them. "For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day. But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. "And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man." (Luk 17:22-26)

The Millenium
Another time period mentioned in the Scriptures, which is yet future and takes place on earth is called "the thousand years."  Since the word millenium means a thousand years, many people refer to this period as "The Millenium."  It is spoken of in the prophets, as well as the book of Revelation.

"Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time. Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." (Rev 20:1-10)

As the Scripture says, Christ will reign during "the thousand years" period, and so shall the one who has part in the first resurrection.  The Scripture speaks of "the thousand years" eventually being completed.

Opportunities to Serve and the Judgment Day
The Good Samaritan
We all face the tyranny of the urgent in our lives each day.  It could be a phone call or an errand.  We are often distracted and detoured to the right or the left by the seemingly urgent, and skip what’s important to God.  When we do so, we miss the Lord’s timing.  Instead we need to avoid those distractions and give priority to what God is doing.

When do we do these things that are important to God?  The righteous will ask this same question on the judgment day, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and cloth you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?”  They wanted to know the times when they had obeyed.  Jesus replies, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”  (Mt 25:37-40).

Likewise, the wicked will ask Him when they had failed to do these things.  He will tell them that whatever they did not do for the least of these brothers of His, they did not do for Him.

During our lives on earth, the Lord gives us opportunities to repent and opportunities to obey.  There are times of refreshing that come from the Lord’s presence when we repent and turn to the Lord.  (Acts 3:19).

We as servants of the Lord must perform our duties at the proper time. And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time?" (Luk 12:42)

God's Set Schedule
Both dates and times are on God’s set schedule. Just before Jesus ascended to heaven, the apostles asked Him if He was at that time going to restore the kingdom to Israel. “Then they gathered around him and asked him, ‘Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?’ He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority.’” (Acts 1:6-7, NIV). In this verse, the word “times” is “kairos,” and the word “dates” is “chronos” meaning “a fixed or special occasion; or interval; an individual opportunity; season, space, time, while.”

We don’t usually get advance notice of when these things will happen. Yet in both our actions and our postponements, we may either obey or compromise. While it is not for us to know the times or dates the Father has set, we are still supposed to operate in the timing of the Lord, in step with the Lord, and in the peace of God. (Galatians 5:25).

The Age to Come
I have already mentioned that there are biblical references to various dispensations on God's timeline.  One of them that I did not yet mention specifically is a future period, called "the renewal of all things" or "the regeneration." In the account of the incident when His disciples asked what their reward would be, since they had left everything to follow Him, Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life." (Mt 19:28-29, NIV).

The Greek word for "the renewal of all things" is "paliggenesia", meaning "Rebirth (the state or the act), that is, (figuratively) spiritual renovation; specifically Messianic restoration: - regeneration." (Strongs). The New American Standard Bible and some other versions translate this as "regeneration" in the verse above. The Lord said this regeneration would occur "when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne." Luke's gospel records this same exchange between Jesus and His disciples as follows:

And He said to them, "Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times as much at this time and in the age to come, eternal life."  (Luk 18:29-30).

Here in Luke's account, Jesus referred to "the renewal of all things" as "the age to come".  The word for “age” in this verse is “aion,” meaning “perpetuity (also past); age, course, eternal, (for) ever, ever.” (Strongs). In that "age to come", all things will be renewed for the righteous, and we will inherit eternal life. As the Scripture says:

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, 'Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.' And He who sits on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.' And He said, 'Write, for these words are faithful and true.'" (Rev 21:1-5)

Therefore, this renewal of all things is an age yet to come, when Jesus Christ sits on His glorious throne. Our Lord and His Christ will reign forever and ever, and His kingdom will have no end (Lk 1:33; Rev. 11:15; Exo. 15:18; Psa. 146:10; Mic. 4:7).  How can we begin to grasp eternity or measure it? In heaven there is no time, but rather ages.  One age follows another as God’s program unfolds and His kingdom is advanced, and it goes on for eternity.

Every day that we are given to remain alive on this earth is God's grace to us. It's another opportunity to serve, another opportunity to repent, and another opportunity to obey.  Let's make the most of every opportunity with the Lord's help, practicing righteousness, holiness, and truth, so that we may dwell with Him throughout eternity. Jesus Christ is the one and only Way to heaven.  There isn't any other way that will lead anyone to the Kingdom of God. There is no other way but through Him.

The 311 Moment

In my research, I have discovered that the 3:11 verses from Genesis to Revelation have a clear message for the Church about the moment that I sense we are in right now, which I refer to as the "311 moment".  I will first explain what I think these Scriptures are saying to us, and then you can read the Scriptures yourself to see if it is true.  If I were to summarize the message I think is found in the 3:11 verses, it would be as follows:

We live in the day when we are going to see rulers try to force everyone to worship the image or be killed.  The enemy tempts us with all forms of idolatry.  But the Lord says, "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me."  Refuse to bow before idols. Flee from idolatry.

We must repent, and worship God alone, in Spirit and Truth, through His Son Jesus Christ, who comes to baptize us with the Holy Spirit and fire.  He is good, for His lovingkindness is upon Israel forever.

At this time, there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God. We must be righteous and live by faith. We must prove ourselves to be more righteous than the hypocrites. We must cry out for a wise and discerning heart, rather than for riches, long life, or the death of our enemies. The Lord will do for you whatever you ask, if you ask in Jesus Name. We must turn away from evil and do good; we must seek peace and pursue it. We ought to be in holy conduct and godliness. Then all the people will know that we are a people of excellence. We should love one another. We ought to be looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God. God’s people must lead a disciplined life. We must not reject the discipline of the LORD or loathe His reproof. Ask for the discipline of the Lord.  Ask Him to reprove you.

Saints must take direction from God. Share food and clothing with those in need. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse. Our lives must be built on the right foundation, which is Jesus Christ.  When we do so, we are able to sing, praising and giving thanks to the LORD. The people will shout with a great shout when they praise the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD Jesus Christ has been laid. But many are building on something else. Their lives have become contaminated. Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water? Even the ocean waters have become bitter with radioactive poison.

The world and even most of those in the church do not accept God’s testimony. This is what the Lord God says, whether they listen or not. Many Christians are now perverted and are sinning, being self-condemned. They are faithless and treacherous. The judgment of Church leaders is influenced by money; many pastors, preachers, and priests teach and preach for a price; and prophets prophesy for money.  Yet they lean on the LORD saying, "Is not the LORD in our midst? Calamity will not come upon us."  The Lord swore in His wrath regarding such people, "They shall not enter My rest."

Judgment is coming. The Lord is about to do a thing at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. The Lord will remove from our midst the proud, exulting ones among us. He will chase them and tear them to pieces; He will make them desolate. The enemy will pull down their strength and loot their strongholds. When they are left behind, they will be hiding, and will search for a refuge from the enemy. They will hide themselves from the Lord to cover their shameful nakedness, because they have eaten from the tree that the Lord commanded them not to eat. They will wish they had never been born, or that they had died as soon as they were born.

Jesus is coming quickly; if you're already keeping His Word, then hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown.  The resurrection from the dead is about to happen. The Lord’s presence is moving now, and His chosen people are about to cross over into the Promised Land. His Bride should go forth and gaze on King Jesus with His crown.  His royal wedding day has now come, the day of gladness of His heart. This is the time. The windows of heaven are about to open.  The Lord Himself will descend.

Sun and moon will stand in their places; They will stop shining at the light of the Lord’s arrows, at the radiance of His gleaming spear. A renewal is about to reach completion, in which there is no race distinction, and Christ is all in all. The Lord is about to rescue us out of all our persecutions and suffering. He will rebuke the devourer for us. The day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. We will see God carry out His eternal purpose in Christ Jesus. That which is about to happen will bring an eternal glory that remains forever.

If there is any theme or message in the 311 Scriptures, this would be it, in my opinion.  But you should pray about it and ask the Lord to confirm it for you, if it is true. Use your discernment, and please understand that this is not a prophecy, but my understanding of the times, as well as my understanding of the Scriptures (1 Chr 12:32; Mt 16:3; Lk 12:56).

Scriptures
Now here are the 3:11’s of Scripture, which seem to have a message from the Lord for the church at this time:

"Go to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listen or not, 'Thus says the Lord GOD.'" (Eze 3:11)

'I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown. (Rev 3:11)

“in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.”  (Php 3:11)

“a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.” (Col 3:11)

“This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,” (Eph 3:11)

"For if that which fades away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory."  (2Co 3:11)

"Go forth, O daughters of Zion, And gaze on King Solomon with the crown With which his mother has crowned him On the day of his wedding, And on the day of his gladness of heart." (Son 3:11)

"Now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you whatever you ask, for all my people in the city know that you are a woman of excellence." (Rth 3:11)

"Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you into the Jordan." (Jos 3:11)

“Now may our God and Father Himself and Jesus our Lord direct our way to you;” (1Th 3:11)

“There is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God.” (Rom 3:11)

"As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Mat 3:11)

"Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony.” (Joh 3:11)

“For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1Co 3:11)

They sang, praising and giving thanks to the LORD, saying, "For He is good, for His lovingkindness is upon Israel forever." And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the LORD because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. (Ezr 3:11)

And he would answer and say to them, "The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise." (Luk 3:11)

"For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another." (1Jn 3:11)

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes," says the LORD of hosts. (Mal 3:10-11)

“Persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me!” (2Ti 3:11)

Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "The righteous man shall live by faith." (Gal 3:11)

God said to him, "Because you have asked this thing and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to understand justice, behold, I have done according to your words. Behold, I have given you a wise and discerning heart, so that there has been no one like you before you, nor shall one like you arise after you." (1Ki 3:11-12)

"My son, do not reject the discipline of the LORD Or loathe His reproof." (Pro 3:11)

“For we hear that some among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies.” (2Th 3:11)

“Knowing that such a man is perverted and is sinning, being self-condemned.” (Tit 3:11)

And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?" (Gen 3:11)

"Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water?" (Jas 3:11)

"He must turn away from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it." (1Pe 3:11)

“As I swore in My wrath, 'they shall not enter My rest.'"  (Heb 3:11)

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!” (2Pe 3:10-12)

“Sun and moon stood in their places; They went away at the light of Your arrows, At the radiance of Your gleaming spear.” (Hab 3:11)

"In that day you will feel no shame Because of all your deeds By which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst Your proud, exulting ones, And you will never again be haughty On My holy mountain." (Zep 3:11)

Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe, Her priests instruct for a price And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the LORD saying, "Is not the LORD in our midst? Calamity will not come upon us."  (Mic 3:11)

Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "An enemy, even one surrounding the land, Will pull down your strength from you And your citadels will be looted." (Amo 3:11)

“You too will become drunk, You will be hidden. You too will search for a refuge from the enemy.” (Nah 3:11)

The LORD said to Samuel, "Behold, I am about to do a thing in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. (1Sa 3:11)

Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare a war; rouse the mighty men! Let all the soldiers draw near, let them come up! Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, "I am a mighty man." Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves there. Bring down, O LORD, Your mighty ones. Let the nations be aroused And come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge All the surrounding nations. (Joe 3:9-12)

"He has turned aside my ways and torn me to pieces; He has made me desolate." (Lam 3:11)

"Why did I not die at birth, Come forth from the womb and expire? (Job 3:11)

And the LORD said to me, "Faithless Israel has proved herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.” (Jer 3:11)

But Jehoshaphat said, "Is there not a prophet of the LORD here, that we may inquire of the LORD by him?" And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, "Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who used to pour water on the hands of Elijah." (2Ki 3:11)

"He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end." (Ecc 3:11)

"But whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast into the midst of a furnace of blazing fire.” (Dan 3:11)

Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster
Coincidentally, March 11, 2011 or 3/11, was the day when the tsunami hit Japan and caused the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, which was the worst nuclear disaster in world history.  We are now coming up on the third anniversary of that event, and the effects of radiation are still impacting the planet.

Mutated crystal
The fallout has caused mutated snow flakes and ice crystals in the area of the disaster, as this article reports.

Another article from Liberty Voice reports that the radiation contaminated waters of the Pacific have reached the West Coast of the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  In fact, it is contaminating the fish along the coast! They have even found that the Alaska sockeye salmon population has declined, and the numbers of bird deaths on the West Coast has risen.  Furthermore, even the mushrooms and berries along the US west coast are contaminated with caesium-137.

Not only did South Korea ban Japanese seafood and fish imports in September, but in December, China has banned all shellfish imports from the Pacific Coast of the US!  An article from Ideastream News states, "China has closed its doors to all shellfish imports from an area that stretches from northern California to Alaska. The state of Washington says it's losing as much as $600,000 a week."

Moreover, the plankton is also dying off in the waters of the US Pacific Coast, as reported in Washington's Blog.  One commenter on that blog named Tall Tom aptly stated:

"The Plankton are dying off. The Pacific Current acts as a conveyor belt bringing fresh Plankton into contact with the poisoned waters off of Fukushima. As they die off there is less Oxygen that is generated through Photosynthesis. This leads to the depletion of Oxygen in Ocean Waters and makes the Oceans acidic...The death of the Oceans, through famine from the loss of Plankton, and a depletion of Oxygen for Aquatic Life is happening as a direct result of Fukushima. Our Atmosphere will also slowly be depleted of Oxygen due to the Plankton Die Off...That depletes the Oxygen supply as well as the supply of the basic building block of the Oceanic Food Chain...The Oceans are dying, and as a result, so will most land-based life, unless we can stop the leaks of poisoned water."

The number of global impacts from this disaster are too many to list here.  The Pacific Current will continue to send out bitter waters from Fukushima that will further contaminate the oceans.  And it will likely continue until the end of the age when the Lord destroys the earth by fire.

An interesting side note is that the third trumpet of the apocalypse turns a third of the earth's waters bitter. (Note: I am not saying that this trumpet has already been sounded or fulfilled).

"The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter." (Rev 8:11)

In a New York Times article published on July 25, 1986, called "Chernobyl Fallout: Apocalyptic Tale," S. Schmemann first noted the link between Chernobyl and the Ukrainian word for "wormwood."  The name of the location where the infamous nuclear reactor disaster happened is derived from the Ukrainian word "chornobyl" - a plant whose Latin botanical name is Armetisia vulgaris, known as "common wormwood." That was in the Ukrainian Bible before the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster ever happened on April 26, 1986.  Since both the Fukushima and Chernobyl nuclear power plants experienced radioactive disasters, and since the name Chernobyl is derived from chornobyl, or Wormwood, this connection seems to associate the bitter waters of Fukushima with the end time apocalyptic events of Revelation. I am not saying that the Fukushima disaster is a result of the future, third trumpet. But could Fukushima be a harbinger of the third trumpet and a sign of the Lord's soon return?

Confirmations Afterward
After I published this article, I saw a brother, named Todd, say he had a dream of the Fukushima earthquake on 3/11/11.  So I sent this article to him, and he replied: “I have read your blog article, and found it extremely interesting. After asking and seeing it so many times in January to March 2011, the Lord awakened me with the number 311 and led me to Revelation 3:11," which says, "I AM coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown."

Then brother Todd says the Lord confirmed it to him on 3/11/11 with the earthquake in Japan.  On that night of March 10 – 11, Todd had a dream of an earthquake in Japan, and told his family about it when he awoke.  Afterward that morning, they saw the earthquake broadcast on television in the hotel lobby where they were staying.

Then after a period of over two years elapsed, I wrote an article on February 19, 2016, titled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster, which is like a part two of this present article.

Putting it All Together
I believe that the 3:11 Scriptures in God's Word do describe the days we are living in, which we could call a 311 moment.  If you have just read this message, and you have ears to hear what the Lord is saying, then let me encourage you.  Jesus is coming quickly now.  If you are already living a consecrated life for the Lord, in holiness, righteousness, and truth, then hold onto what you have.  Look heavenward, for your redemption draws near.  And warn those who will listen.

If you are not living as you should, and you have become worldly or lukewarm toward the Lord, then repent.  Cry out for mercy.  Wake up, and seek the Lord with all your heart.  Continue to live a life of daily repentance, doing God's will.  Stay ready and on the alert for our Lord's return. And don't forget to warn others and lead them to live their lives for Jesus Christ.

The Amazing Sign of Jonah

"I can't believe in God unless I see some kind of sign that He exists." I've heard people say things similar to this before. Maybe you have heard this from someone you love or even said it yourself. This is what the religious people wanted to see from Jesus -- some sort of sign to prove his divinity.

Jesus said, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and a sign will not be given it, except the sign of Jonah." And He left them and went away. (Mat 16:4) Also see Luke 11:29, 30.

In fact, Jesus compared himself to Jonah, and said that the sign of the prophet Jonah would be given to this adulterous generation. This study examines that sign, comparing and contrasting the experiences of Jonah and Jesus on the sea. I'll put these comparisons side by side, so you can see them one by one, first about Jesus, and then about Jonah. (All references to the book of Jonah will be abbreviated Jon)

Jesus Jonah
Son of God gave the order to go across the lake to the other side (Mat 8:18) God told Jonah to go to Nineveh (Jon 1:2)
Jesus got into the boat to cross over and the disciples followed him (Mat 8:23) Jonah got into a boat and fled from the Lord’s presence. He disobeyed God, heading away from Nineveh (Jon 1:3)
Without warning, a furious storm came up on the sea. (Mat 8:24) There was a great storm on the sea (Jon 1:5)
The waves swept over the boat (Mat 8:23) The ship was about to break up (Jon 1:4)
Jesus was sleeping in the boat (Mat 8:24) Jonah was sleeping in the boat (Jon 1:5)
The disciples in the boat cried out in fear for their lives to the Son of God (Mat 8:25) The sailors in the boat became afraid and every man cried to his god (Jon 1:5, 10)
The disciples went and woke Jesus (Mat 8:25) The captain approached Jonah and woke him (Jon 1:6)
The disciples expected the Son of God to save them from the storm (Mat 8:25) The captain expected the God of Jonah to save him and his crew from the storm. The sailors called on the Lord to save them. (Jon 1:6, 14)
Jesus is the Lord God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land (John 1:1-3) Jonah feared the Lord God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land (Jon 1:9)
Jesus rebuked the wind and the waves of the sea (Mat 8:26) Jonah was thrown into the sea (Jon 1:15)
The sea became perfectly calm The sea stopped its raging (Jon 1:15)
The key to the sea becoming calm again was Jesus being in the boat The key to the sea becoming calm again was getting Jonah out of the boat (Jon 1:11, 12)
The disciples were amazed at the power and authority of the Son of God. They took note that the winds and waves obeyed Him. (Mat 8:27) The sailors feared the Lord greatly after the sea became calm, and they offered sacrifices to Him and made vows (Jon 1:16)
A fish has represented Jesus for centuries, because of the Greek Ikhthus (ΙΧΘΥΣ) acronym (Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior) that means fish. The Lord ordained that Jesus would be crucified and die on a cross. (Mat 20:18,19 and Luk 9:22) The LORD appointed a great fish to swallow Jonah (Jon 1:17 and Is 53:10)
Jesus died to save us from God's wrath. Yet, unlike Jonah, He never sinned, and the wrath was on account of our own sins. (Rom 5:91 and Thes 1:10) When Jonah asked them to throw him into the sea, he was willing to die to save them from the wrath of God. (Jon 1:12)
Jonah seems to have died of drowning before the sea creature swallowed him (Jon 2:5-7).
Jesus was in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. (Mat 12:39, 40) Jonah's body was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. (Jon 1:17)
Jesus went down to the dead. In 180 AD, Irenaeus of Lyons wrote, “…the Lord went away into the midst of the shadow of death where the souls of the dead were…” In 350 AD, Cyril of Jerusalem wrote, "(Christ) descended into the subterranean regions so that He might ransom from there the just...” (1 Pet 3:19 and Ac 10:40) When Jonah died, he cried to the Lord from Sheol (the subterranean world of the dead). (Jon 2:2)
Many people repented at the preaching of Jesus (Mat 12:41) The men of Nineveh repented at the preaching of Jonah (Jon 3:1-10)
After three days in the heart of the earth, Jesus rose from the dead. (Luke 24 and John 20, and 1 Cor 15:3-5) After three days in the belly of the sea monster, the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah up onto the dry land. He was raised back to life again by the Lord. (Jon 2:6, 10)

My friend, you've got your sign.  Jesus, One Who is greater than Jonah, has come and walked among us (Mat 12:41, Luke 11:32).  He Himself is a sign, as Simeon said of Him to Mary, His mother, "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against..." (Lk 2:34).

After Jesus rose from the dead, he manifested himself (appeared) to the disciples by the sea where they were fishing. There he was by the seaside, cooking a piece of fish on the charcoal fire. He gave them some of the fish and they ate breakfast together. John 21:9

"The men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation at the judgment and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. (Luk 11:32)

The IKTHUS Fish
The Greek word for fish, ikhthus (ichthys in borrowed words), spelled, in Greek characters, Iota-Chi-Theta-Upsilon-Sigma (ΙΧΘΥΣ looks like IXOYE in Roman alphabet characters) is regarded as an acronym for Ιησως Χριστος Θεου `Υιος Σωτερ (or, in Roman alphabet characters, Iesou (Jesus) Christos (anointed) Theou (of God) Uios (son) Soter (saviour)), which means Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Saviour.

According to "Knowledge Rush" encyclopedia, "One of the signs for Christianity is the fish. The reason for this dates from some early societies of Christians who protected themselves and their congregations by keeping their meetings secret. In order to point the way to ever-changing meeting places, they developed a symbol which adherents would readily recognize, and which they could scratch on rocks, walls and the like, in advance of a meeting. The fish was chosen as eminently apropos."

What's Your Response to the Sign
When you are driving your car and see a road sign warning that there's danger ahead, you heed the road signs, because you know you could die if we don’t respond properly to the sign.

Jesus has given us in Himself the sign of Jonah. What should our response be at this sign?

First, we should repent with the same wholehearted fervor as the men of Nineveh.  If we do turn from our wicked way, then God will relent concerning the calamity that He had declared He would send on us and we will not perish. If we don’t repent, the men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment and condemn us.

Second, we should believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and receive forgiveness for our sins. Remember that Jesus said the sign he would show was that he would be in the belly of the earth for only three days and three nights, as Jonah was temporarily in the belly of the great fish. Just as it was a miracle that Jonah made it out of the fish alive, it was a miracle that Jesus came back out of the grave. This is the most remarkable aspect of the sign Jesus gave to the world.

The apostle Paul wrote: “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; (Rom 10:9). This means that there are two very important things you must do to be saved. The first is to confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. That means you say out loud that He is Lord over your life personally and Lord of the Universe. And the second thing you need to do is to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.

This takes us back to the sign Jesus gave us. He is no longer in the grave. After three days, He rose again. What will be your response to this sign? Let me encourage you today to repent of your own sin and believe on Jesus Christ. Confess that He is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. And as the Scriptures say, “You will be saved.”

Will you repent of your sins, and put your trust in Jesus today to save you?
