Home

In this blog, I report on signs of the times indicating the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ to collect His holy, righteous, and pure Bride. I also provide prophetic revelations and teaching on the topic.

As the Scripture says,

"When it is evening, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.' And in the morning, 'There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?" (Mat 16:2-3)

We must not be like the religious leaders of Jesus' day, who could not discern the signs of the times. Instead, we must be like the sons of Issachar spoken of in the Bible, who understood the signs of the times, and knew what their nation should do (1 Chr 12:32).

"But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. "And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. (Mat 24:29-33)

Some of the topics covered include the rapture, signs in the sun, moon, and stars, the antichrist, the mark of the beast, persecution, martyrdom, repentance, preparation, the judgment of God, and His wrath upon the wicked.

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"

Urgent End Time Warning from the Lord

I recently wrote about Lynn Veasley's Revelation of Hell, and now I would like to share with you his urgent, end time warning to anyone who will listen.

In this urgent warning, posted on June 7, 2016, he spoke prophetically about the things he heard from the Heavenly Father. The Father told him to share with everyone what's to come. He said:

"He's given us the opportunity of a lifetime to be able to make preparations. His wrath is coming. He told me to go and tell everyone that will listen that time is winding up. He told me over fifteen years ago of the disease and destruction that is coming to the United States and all around the world -- the nuclear bomb, the disease, the tidal wave, which is tsunamis, the earthquakes, and all these other things that are coming, the viruses. As there are so many, you can't just name them all."

"His wrath is coming. He told me to go and tell everyone that will listen that time is winding up. He told me...of the disease and destruction that is coming to the United States and all around the world -- the nuclear bomb, the disease, the tidal wave, which is tsunamis, the earthquakes, and all these other things that are coming, the viruses."

"God is wonderful. He has so many disciples that He wakes just like me. And it was so refreshing to know that I was not the only one around that was saying the same one thing, and that was 'Repent, because His wrath is here.' Now Father is fixing to lift His hands off the nation, because of the blasphemy. They blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, and that's one thing He's not gonna tolerate. Father said, 'I will stand up and show them who is God.'"

"I know that we think and we believe that as long as we believe in God, we're good to go. But that's not the case. You must know God. God said, 'I will raise up a nation. I will raise up a people that will obey. They will be My people and I will be their God, meaning that we will have a relationship with God -- not seeking fame and fortune, not seeking the riches of this world, but seeking His face."

"Now we are either going to serve God or we're going to serve ourselves - man. We know that all these things we're seeing on television are not good, they're not right, because they've turned their back on God."

"I wanted to tell you in as humble and simple a way (as possible), where it won't be offensive, and where it won't run you off. In a way that will just be simple and easy, and there's just no way to do that. Repent! I had to [do so], everyone has to. You must repent. The way you're living is not going to be enough. If you have sin in your life, it's not going to be enough. If you think that you can just sit here and survive the things that are coming and wait it all out, that's not going to be enough. You can't do it."

"The funny thing I found out and I asked God...how come we don't see the big time preachers preaching about repentance and about what's coming. He said that's because they have their own agenda. Father said, 'I will keep it simple, so I can reach the simple. The ones that have pride, I will not tell them, because they don't seek My face. They don't seek to know Me.'"

"So I asked Father, 'How can I do this? What can I say that will reach them.' He said 'Tell them they only have months. Tell them to get prepared. Tell them that they need to get out of the country.' He said, 'Get out of the way of destruction.'"

"He said, 'Tell them they only have months. Tell them to get prepared. Tell them that they need to get out of the country.' He said, 'Get out of the way of destruction.'"

"I'm like, 'Well, Father, that's a lot to put on someone in a few minutes.' Father said, 'Tell them.' When I go in the front and I talk to my Father, and the Spirit comes on me, He comes on me strongly. He takes over my tongue, my mind, my eyes, my ears. I hear, I see in the Spirit. I speak only the language of the Spirit. And by the time it's over with, I'm worn out. I'm torn down. But I must be obedient to what Father said. Father said, "Repent. Turn." Man is trying their best to act as though no matter what kind of sin it is, it's ok. They have cast the laws of God and thrown them in the trash and made their own law, which is sin. Father said, 'I can forgive all those sins, but this one I will not forgive...'"

"Father will forgive all things, except one thing, and that is blaspheming against the Holy Ghost. And this country and the world has done this. Because I thought it was for sin, so I said, 'Father, so can't you forgive them for their sins?' He said, 'Yes, I forgive all sins.' He said, 'That's not the reason the wrath is coming. That's not the reason why I'm pulling My hands off of the nation and let the earth receive what it's going to receive.' He said, 'Because they've blasphemed against My Spirit.'"

"See, you can't blaspheme if you never had or you've never known anything about it. But once you get the goodness of God and know the sweetness of His Spirit, and then turn and say there is nothing to it, you have blasphemed against God. And God said, 'I will not allow that! I will show My face. I will show man who I am, as I have done with Pharaoh. The world will know that I AM.' I dropped my head and I said, 'Father forgive me for questioning anything.' Father said, 'Receive My words from My prophets on this earth. For this is the time that will change forever. The earth will forever be different. It will forever be changed.' He said, 'Before it is over, over three billion people will die.'

Note: Lynn corrected this in another video and said that one third of the world population will die, and since there are about six billion people in the world, that means two billion people will die.

"Father said, 'Receive My words from My prophets on this earth. For this is the time that will change forever. The earth will forever be different. It will forever be changed.'"

Lynn says, "I'm like, 'Father, why so many people? why so many people? Even a lot of Christians!' He said, 'The Church has turned its back on Me. The Church is not even standing up for Me.' I said, 'Father, are you angry?' He said, 'When you blaspheme against My Spirit, which I have blessed this nation greatly and made it the number one nation in this world, I will destroy it and make it the least. He said, 'They will suffer greatly. You say that you need not God? You say that you are God? You make your own law -- your law against Him? He said you will suffer greatly. No matter how this earth stands in sin, God has always blessed the righteous and the unrighteous. But Father said He will not tolerate this any more. He said, 'I lift My hands up.' And He said, 'The horsemen come.' And He said, 'The angel comes, and he will sound his trumpet. It is done.' He said, 'I have called many to preach the same thing that I have told you to tell and warn those (that are in their family, friends, everyone that you see) warn them of what's to come.' That's what Father said.

"And I've been warning people. And it hurts your heart to hear someone say, 'You think the government is going to allow this to happen? You think they're going to allow diseases? You think they're going to allow a bomb to happen in this country? You think the government is going to allow all these things?' Lord have mercy! Men think that man is God. God said, 'I will tear it all down -- government and all will fall.' Remember what I said: There's nothing that He ever told me that did not come to pass."

"God wants you to be saved. Listen to me! Repent. If you want to know anything, seek it out. Seek the answers. Look on Youtube. Look up a man named Benjamin Baruch. He has a relationship like I have with Father. And there's many others besides him that are saying the same thing: 'Leave the country.' So many have taken their family and left the country, getting out of the way, because He's going to destroy this country. It will never be the same! Never! And the world is going to rejoice, because great will it fall. Great is the fall of it! Get your passport. Make preparation to leave this country. Don't take the chance of saying, 'Oh, you're just being a radical,' and just blow it off. Don't do that. Why would I tell anyone to leave the country? Why would all of us tell anyone to leave the country unless God said so. We love this country, but we love God more. When God said, 'Move,' move."

"He called it an exodus. You will see it. There are many, many of God's people leaving this country. Some going north. Some going south. But they are getting out of this country. When this country falls, the graves won't be able to hold -- the massive graves -- they will pile up the bodies and they will be burning them. There's not enough."

"Listen, Father has a place for all those that He has told where to go to leave. And their family and their friends are going with them. They've already left, many have. But some are still saying the same thing I'm saying, crying out to their family, pleading and begging their family, so they won't be left behind. Why would God do that, when He's capable of keeping us in the country? Because He said, 'I would rather you be out of the way in a peaceful place, in a better place, than to be around the destruction itself.' He said, 'Those that believe will be safe, if they act on it. Those that do not believe will suffer.'"

"He said, 'I would rather you be out of the way in a peaceful place, in a better place, than to be around the destruction itself.' He said, 'Those that believe will be safe, if they act on it. Those that do not believe will suffer.'"

"This is the time -- today is the time that you believe or don't believe. This is the time that you be for real with God or be fake! There's no more playing church! There's no more, 'Ahh, I'm a believer of God,' and then you go on with your life about your business and don't even known nothing about it. Either you are going to have a relationship with God or you are not. This is the time...This is the end time. This is the time the prophets were talking about that in the latter times many shall depart from the faith, taking heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. What you see on television -- nothing but doctrines of devils, seducing spirits."

Near the end of the video Lynn says that we need to trust God and not man. We need to look around and see the fulfillment of the book of Revelation, the Bible, the prophecies are being fulfilled, and we need to see it with our own two eyes.

He said, "Stand for Jesus. I know this is a lot to say, 'Hey, tribulations are coming! The wrath of God is coming! Pick up and leave!' I know that sounds like a lot. But no more playing church! Either you're going to trust God for real or you're going to trust man."

He said we can make many excuses not to take heed to his warning. People may say, "I can't leave what I have. I've got a house." Lynn responds, "Sell it!" Or others may say, "I can't leave what I have. I've got a great job." Lynn replies, "God gave it to you. He'll bless you with another one." He urges, "We can find many, many reasons why not to believe. But I'm telling you, find the reason to believe. Look! Open your eyes! Look around! See what's going on around you! Know that the heart of many has waxed cold. Know that they have no love for you."

"What do you think is going to happen when hell breaks loose? What do you think's going to happen when God has lifted His hand and all hell is breaking loose -- when you've got the race riots, when you have the diseases, when you have a bomb go off in the country, radiation flying everywhere, when you have earthquakes, tidal waves (tsunamis)? What do you think -- that the government is going to come to your rescue? You can forget that one. I think you found out in New Orleans what happened on that one, and that was one city. We're talking about a nation that's going to drop -- a nation that's going to fall. You get it? Repent!"

What do you think -- that the government is going to come to your rescue?"

He ends by saying, "May God bless you. May God keep you. Don't just take my word for it. Search it out. Look for it. Look for others saying the same thing. Don't count me out as being crazy. Don't count me out for being a radical. Don't count it out. I've never been wrong. That's the sad part, if you count me out. When it comes to Father, I've never been wrong. Get your passport. Whether you have your passport, I'll tell you another word: Repent! Repent. May God bless you. May He give you dreams and visions which He has already done with some of you. If you feel in your heart that something is wrong, it's because God was tugging at your heart and you know this is not going to stand anymore -- this beautiful place, this beautiful place called United States. It will never be the same. The earth will never be the same."

END OF MESSAGE FROM LYNN VEASLEY

Amazingly this message that brother Lynn posted on Youtube in 2016 is the same as what the Lord has been speaking through little children recently as well, which I have written about in my article, Prophetic End Time Warnings from Little Children. I recommend checking it out.

Author's note: You must take responsibility for your own actions. Nobody knows the day or the hour, and in no way am I date setting. This is only to provide you with information, so that you can make your own decisions, for which you will be accountable to God.

Brace Yourselves for the Great Shaking

In case you didn't know it, we are about to experience a great shaking, so brace yourselves. I'd like to share with you the following email I received on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from my friend Faith. She wrote:

"On Sunday evening, July 31, 2016 I was talking with a few friends. We were talking about our lives and what to expect until the time of the Rapture. We were coming to the conclusion that things would continue to be difficult until the Lord comes and intervenes. One friend, named Patti, put it this way. She said, 'I guess we need to BRACE OURSELVES, because there's not going to be resolution until He (Jesus) comes.' I thought that was a very timely comment but an unusual choice of words."

"The next day, Patti called with a report about the first video posted below (see 'Brace Yourselves' video from August 1). In it there are two recent instances of people hearing those very same words. My friend did not remember that she had said the same thing in our conversation the evening before! I had to remind her of it and she was even more amazed! The Lord was giving us the same message."

"Just today, I am finally listening to the video she sent and found another vid with the same powerful warning from a few months ago."

BRACE YOURSELVES!!!! Message given to a friend...Warning

Warning: BRACE YOURSELVES!!!! Sudden Turbulence.
Posted April 7, 2016

"This is not a negative thing to get fearful about. It is our loving Heavenly Father wanting to prepare us for the days ahead. However, it is important that we hear clearly from Him and be obedient to what He is saying. Rejoice! Our redemption draws near. -- Faith."

[END OF EMAIL TRANSCRIPT]

Putting it All Together
That is the end of my friend Faith's email to me on August 3, 2016. Let me summarize the key events described in her email above, in the following seven points:

1. July 31, 2016 - a sister named Jennifer Beebe on Sunday had a supernatural, nighttime experience, in which she heard the words, "Brace Yourself" (see the first video above, in which Jennifer's friend Rhonda relates her story).

2. July 31, 2016, - a sister named Jennifer Beebe sent a text message to her sister-in-law, who was in a Sunday service at church, telling her about the message she received in point #1 above.

3. July 31, 2016 - Jennifer Beebe's sister-in-law (see point #2 above) showed the text message that she had just received to her husband in church.

4. July 31, 2016 - at the end of the Sunday church service attended by Jennifer Beebe's sister-in-law (see points #2 and 3 above), an elderly gentleman suddenly jumped out of his seat, took the microphone from the pastor, and gave an urgent warning to "brace ourselves." He said, "I just got a message from the Lord, and He said we as Christians need to come together and brace ourselves, that an earthquake or something of that magnitude is coming."

5. July 31, 2016 - On Sunday evening, Faith's friend Patti said, "I guess we need to brace ourselves." However, she did not yet know anything about the events that happened in points # 1, 2, 3, or 4 above.

6. August 1, 2016 - On Monday, Faith's friend Patti called her to report the first video above, entitled "BRACE YOURSELVES!!!! Message given to a friend...Warning," which was posted on August 1, 2016. However, Faith's friend did not even remember that she herself had used the same term "brace ourselves" the previous evening (see point #5 above), until Faith reminded her of it.

7. August 3, 2016 - My friend, Faith watched the August 1 video she received from her friend. She also found another video posted April 7, 2016, called "Brace Yourselves" (see second video above). In that video a sister claims that she was sitting in her bed, when she heard the warning loudly and clearly, "Brace Yourselves!" The sister had not even been thinking along those lines, and when she asked the Lord what it was about, she heard Him say, "Extreme turbulence." Faith sent the email to me, the body of which I posted at the beginning of this email.

In this article, I have just documented that there were three different people this past Sunday, July 31, 2016, who neither knew each other nor knew about each other, and independently got the same message from God that we need to "BRACE OURSELVES!!!!" And we also have a fourth person, who independently received that exact same message in April. Moreover, there is the amazing interconnection between these people, which would be statistically impossible if God were not involved. It should be obvious to anyone who is reading this that a great shaking is about to happen. Something big is coming.

It reminds me of a message that Susan Cummings heard from the Lord in her dream called "The Summons". In it she quoted the Lord as saying: "The Great Shaking has only just begun in reality, but I showed you so that you would know My Heart in it. The Shaking is necessary to dislodge all of the deeply entrenched sins and idolatry of the nation. Much is entrenched beneath the land and has been there from the beginning. But, I am visiting the land, and it will be shaken so that it can be freed. The mountains erupted from the great pressures that have been building and from the battle that has been waged over the destiny of your land."

I close with the following passage from the twelfth chapter of the Book of Hebrews:

“See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.’ This expression, ‘Yet once more,’ denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” (Heb 12:25-29)

This passage cautions us that we will not escape if we turn away from Him who warns from heaven. Also see Matthew 24:37-39 and Luke 17:26-30. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, until only that which cannot be shaken remains. God, His Christ, and His kingdom cannot be shaken. Have you been purified with His holy fire? If not, then ask Him to do so. Be sure you are ready and are found spotless and blameless in Him when the Lord Jesus returns.

Times and Epochs the Father has Determined

Let me begin by saying that I would not consider myself a dispensationalist and have studied outside those circles. While in Bible school and graduate school decades ago, I studied under people with various different schools of thought. And since that time, I have also sat under the teaching of those who were definitely not dispensational in their theology. However, I have reached my conclusions based on the Bible, which is the book I read most of the time, and not men's opinions.  I don't follow any dispensational teacher or book. I follow the Bible.

Dispensations in the Bible
Dispensational theology is one that views all of biblical history and the future as a series of dispensations, or time periods when God dealt with mankind or with a certain people in a particular way. For example, a dispensational teacher may illustrate on a timeline chart all the epochs that have occurred since the world began, such as the age of innocence, the age of conscience, the age of human government, the ante-deluvian age (pre-flood), the age of Law, the age of grace or favor, the time of Jacob’s trouble or the Tribulation, and the millennial reign of Christ on earth.

The term dispensationalism itself is not a biblical term, but one that man has made up. However, even if we had never heard of dispensationalism before, and there was no such categorization for a field of theological thought, we could look at the Bible (like good Bereans should) and see there are clearly dispensations. The dictionary definition of dispensation is "a system of order, government, or organization of a nation, community, etc., especially as existing at a particular time."

So if I look at the Bible, I definitely see a "government" or "organization of a nation," or a "community" that was "existing at a particular time." I don't have to force anything to try and make it fit to support that point. It's just obvious. For example, there was the Israelite “community” during the period when they were in the desert under the leadership of Moses, as well as in the Promised Land under Joshua. They were “organized into a nation” called Israel. So without even trying, we can find that one easily.

And if we look at the period of judges, that was a government that existed at a particular time under leaders like Samson, Gideon, Barack, Deborah, and others. And the period of kings was another one. You cannot deny that these periods are in the Bible. And the fact that they were under the Law of Moses and the Mosaic covenant during a particular period is undeniable, too. When Christ came and instituted a New Covenant, He took preeminence from that point forward, while His teaching and His commandments took precedence.  Like the Father said from the cloud, when Elijah and Moses appeared next to the Lord, representing the Law and the Prophets, "This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!" (Luk 9:35)

The “community” that existed in the book of Acts and still exists to this day is the Church under the government that is on Christ's shoulders (Is 9:6). The description of the congregation or “community” of believers in the following passage from Acts is unlike anything ever seen in any prior period in biblical history.

“And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them. And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.” (Act 4:31-33)

This marked a new era, an age of grace, when all believers were filled with the Holy Spirit. The crucifixion of Christ on the cross and His subsequent resurrection was the turning point when this age began, which some might call the Church age.

The Lord Spoke of Ages and Time Periods
When the Lord began His public ministry, He announced this new age of grace by saying that He had come to proclaim the year of God’s favor.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord." (Luk 4:18-19).

He read this from the scroll in the prophet Isaiah, and He stopped short of saying the very next words that Isaiah prophesied in that sentence. Isaiah prophesied, “…To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD And the day of vengeance of our God…” (Isa 61:2a). The Lord proclaimed the favorable year of the Lord, but did not finish the verse by the referring to the day of vengeance of our God, since that was yet another time period in the future. Nevertheless, we cannot deny that the Bible speaks of these two time periods, one of them of God’s favor and a subsequent one of God’s vengeance.

The Lord also spoke about the time of His Second Coming often, using various expressions like "which day your Lord is coming," "that day and hour no one knows," "the Master of that slave will come on a day," "the day that the Son of Man is revealed," "the days of the Son of Man," and "will the Son of Man be in His day."  I would like to especially draw your attention to the expression, “the days of the Son of Man.” This clearly refers to a time period that was yet future at the time when the Lord spoke of it.

In the following passage, note the many uses of the expressions “the days” and “His day”:

“And He said to the disciples, ‘The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. They will say to you, “Look there! Look here!” Do not go away, and do not run after them. For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day. But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, the one who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out; and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back.” (Luk 17:22-31)

The Lord spoke of “the days of Noah,” “the days of Lot,” and “the days of the Son of Man.” These all refer to different time periods, and it is clear that “the days of the Son of Man” were still future at the time when Jesus spoke these words, since He referred to them as coming after His suffering and rejection.

By the way, I would like to point out that the word for “day” and “days” in this passage is “hemera”, which – depending on the context -- can mean either literally a 24-hour day or figuratively a period, such as an age or time or period of years. According to Strongs, hemera means “day, that is, (literally) the time space between dawn and dark, or the whole 24 hours (but several days were usually reckoned by the Jews as inclusive of the parts of both extremes), figuratively a period (always defined more or less clearly by the context): - age, time, while, years.”

The Lord also spoke explicitly of a future "age". Jesus said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they cannot even die anymore, because they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection." (Luk 20:34-36)

The word "age" is "aion" in the Greek, meaning "properly an age; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world; specifically (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future): - age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end)." -- Strongs. In the context of Luke 20, "age" is the appropriate translation of "aion."

So He taught that you and I are "sons of this age." And He also taught about those who are considered worthy to attain to "that age and from the resurrection from the dead." Therefore, according to Christ, there is "this age", which we are presently living in, and there is "that age", which is future, after the resurrection.

Likewise, he also referred to "this age" and "the age to come" in other passages. For example, in His teaching about the unpardonable sin, He said, "Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come." (Mat 12:32). And in His teaching about rewards for service, He said, "...he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life." (Mar 10:29-30)

Moreover, the Lord also used the expression "end of the age" to refer to the last days. Here are some examples:

"So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous," (Mat 13:49; also see Mat 13:39-40)

"Teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Mat 28:20).

Finally, while speaking about the signs that would occur at the end of the age, the Lord spoke of a period that He called "the times of the Gentiles."  He said, "...Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." (Luk 21:24; cf., Rom 11:25). (See The Times of the Gentiles).

The Apostles Spoke of Ages and Times
The apostles spoke about ages and times. One example was when they spoke to the Lord right before His ascension. “So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, ‘Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?’ He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;’” (Act 1:6-7)

The apostles used the expression “at this time,” and the word “time” is “chronos,” meaning “a space of time which designates a fixed or special occasion; it denotes a particular period or interval; by extension an individual opportunity; by implication delay: season, space, time, while.” They were asking whether this was the space of time when He was going to restore the kingdom to Israel. They referred to a government and a particular period of time, which is the precise definition of the term "dispensation."

The Lord did not deny that there would be a time or period when he would restore the kingdom to Israel. He simply told them that it was not for them to know the times or epochs which the Father has determined by His own authority. The word for “times” in verse 7 when Jesus replied to the apostles was the same word used in verse 6 in their question to the Lord, which was “chronos.” The word used for “epochs” in verse 7 is “kairos” meaning “an occasion, that is, set or proper time: opportunity, (convenient, due) season, (due, short, while) time, a while.”

While these two words, “chronos” and “kairos” have different shades of meaning, they are also used somewhat interchangeably in the Bible.

For example, both Jude and Peter wrote about a period called the “last time”, but one of them used the word chronos and the other used the word kairos.

Jude wrote: “But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, ‘In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.’" (Jud 1:17-18). In Jude’s expression “last time”, the word for “time” is “chronos.”

Peter used this same expression “last time”, when he wrote: “…who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1Pe 1:5). However, in this passage, the word “kairos” is used instead of “chronos.” Nevertheless, whether kairos or chronos is used, we cannot deny the fact that the “last time” refers to a particular period. It is a period that occurs at the end and happens last, at the end of time.

There is another expression similar to “last time”, which is “last days.”

Peter used this expression when he wrote in his epistle, “Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts,” (2Pe 3:3). This corresponds exactly to what Jude wrote in the passage I have already cited above in Jud 1:17-18, except that instead of calling it the "last time," Peter calls it the "last days."

Peter had also used this same term on the Day of Pentecost. He proclaimed, “'And it shall be in the last days,' God says, 'that I will pour forth of My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;’” (Act 2:17).

Peter was quoting from the prophet Joel, chapter 2. He was teaching that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit happening on that day was the fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy regarding the last days. From this we can ascertain that the last days began with Pentecost.

Paul spoke of the last days, too. He wrote, “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.” (2Ti 3:1)

James wrote, “Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure!” (Jas 5:3)

In the book of Hebrews, we learn that at the time it was written, the last days were already in progress, and were called “these last days.” It says, “In these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.” (Heb 1:2)

The apostle John affirmed that the last days had already begun during his days, when he wrote, “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.” (1Jn 2:18). He spoke of the last hour in the present tense.

The apostles asked Jesus about the end of the ages. "As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, 'Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?'" (Mat 24:3)

In Hebrews, it says, "But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself." (Heb 9:26). Other versions have it as "the fulfillment of the ages" or the consummation of the ages," but they all carry the same meaning, which is that the sacrifice of Christ on the cross for our sins happened at the end of the ages.

In Paul's first epistle to the Corinthians, he also wrote, "Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come." (1Co 10:11). He spoke of the end of the ages as having come upon him and his readers. The end of the ages began with the earthly ministry of Christ, especially His crucifixion, and continued throughout the first century. Since it has not yet reached its conclusion, we know it continues to this day.

Therefore, we know from the apostles’ use of the terms “last time,” “last days,” “last hour,” and "end of the ages," that there is such an age or period that began in the first century and continues up until now. If the first century was considered the last days, then we in this present generation are living in the last of the last days! If it was considered the last hour in the apostle John's day, then we are in the last minute or the final second! We can truly say that the end of the ages has come upon us! This present age that Paul spoke of is about to conclude, and "the age to come" is about to commence (Eph 1:21; Heb 6:5).

The apostle Paul also wrote about the time of God’s favor, which I have already mentioned was part of Christ’s teaching. Paul quoted from the prophet Isaiah (49:8), when he wrote:

“For He says, ‘At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you.’ Behold, now is ‘the acceptable time,’ behold, now is ‘the day of salvation.’" (2Co 6:2)

In saying this in the context of God’s grace (2 Cor 6:1), Paul declared that the acceptable time, which the Holy Spirit had spoken about through Isaiah, had begun, and the day of salvation was now in progress. This is the same time period that the Lord referred to in Luke 4:18, calling it “the favorable year of the Lord,” as I have already mentioned. Incidentally, the word for “time” in 2 Cor 6:2 is “kairos” and the word for “day” is “hemera”, both of which I have already defined.

Finally, Paul taught that God has set a certain day when He will judge the world with justice. He said, "For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.” (Ac 17:31, NIV). (See The Judgment Seat of Christ).

The Prophets Spoke of Ages and Times
Not only did the Lord and His apostles speak of ages, times, and days, but so did the prophets, which they often quoted. I have already mentioned some such passages from Isaiah, but another example is found in Daniel. Here is how that book ends:

“As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, ‘My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?’ He said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time. Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age.’" (Dan 12:8-13)

As we can clearly see from this passage, there will be a future period, which the angel Gabriel referred to as “the end time” (v. 9). Gabriel told Daniel specifically when this time would occur, and exactly how many days it would last (v. 11). He also made reference to “the end of the age" (v. 13).

The Hebrew word for “time” in verse 9 is “eth,” which can mean literally a 24-hour day or figuratively an age. And the word for “age” in verse 13 is “yom”, which can either literally mean a day or figuratively an age or season, depending on the context.

The Time of Jacob's Trouble
Another age that I would like to mention from the prophets is a time period known as Jacob’s Trouble. Jeremiah wrote, “Alas! for that day (Hebrew, yom) is great, There is none like it; And it is the time (Hebrew, eth) of Jacob's distress, But he will be saved from it.” (Jer 30:7). Jeremiah described it as a time of terror, of dread, when there is no peace, when every man has his hands on his loins, as a woman in childbirth, and all faces are turned pale (Jer 30:5-6). Jeremiah prophesied of these coming days when the Lord would restore the fortunes of His people Israel and Judah, and bring them back to the Promised Land (Jer 30:3). It will be a time when the Lord will destroy completely all the nations where He has scattered His people Israel and Judah, But He will not destroy His people Israel and Judah completely. He will chasten them justly and will by no means leave them unpunished (Jer 30:11). The Lord will wound them with the wound of an enemy, with the punishment of a cruel one, because their iniquity is great and their sins are numerous (Jer 30:14). But Jacob will eventually be saved from it (Jer 30:7). Therefore, once again we have in the prophets a future age foretold, which corresponds with "the day of vengeance of our God" that Isaiah and Christ spoke of.

The Day of the Lord
The prophets also spoke of the day of the Lord. They referred to it as a coming day of clouds, of darkness and not light, even gloom with no brightness in it, a time of doom for the nations, as destruction from the Almighty, great and terrible, very awesome, cruel, with fury and burning anger, to make the land a desolation and exterminate its sinners from it. It will be a day when the warrior cries out bitterly, a day of wrath when all the earth will be devoured in the fire of His jealousy, for He will make a complete end, indeed a terrifying one, of all the inhabitants of the earth. (Isa. 13:6,9; Eze. 13:5; 30:3; Joel 1:15; 2:1,11,31; 3:14; Amos 5:18,20; Oba. 1:15; Zep. 1:7,14,18; 2:2,3; Mal. 4:5).

Reign of Christ on Earth
One last future age I would like to mention is that of the literal reign of Christ on earth. This is spoken about in the Psalms and the Prophets. For example, Isaiah wrote, "Then the moon will be abashed and the sun ashamed, For the LORD of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, And His glory will be before His elders." (Isa 24:23). There are too many passages to cite, but many people have spiritualized them, rather than taking them literally. One that I will mention that explicitly states Christ will reign as king on earth is found in Zechariah. It states:

"Behold, a day is coming for the LORD when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him! In that day there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. For it will be a unique day which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light. And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter. And the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one." (Zec 14:1-9)

In this passage, it says, "in that day..." (Hebrew, yom), meaning that this is an age or time period. Moreover, it says that "His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem," and "the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one." This is precisely the same time period as described in Revelation 20, which says:

"Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time. Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years." (Rev 20:1-4)

Here we are told that this age of Christ's reign on earth will last for a thousand years, which is where we derive the term Millennium. I choose to take that literally, rather than figuratively or spiritually.

Dispensation is a Biblical Word
While the term "dispensationalism" itself may not be a biblical term, the word “dispensation” is in fact found in Scripture. You won't find it in most of the modern translations, but the Geneva Bible, King James Bible, and American Standard Version all contain it. It comes from the Greek word "oikonomia," which means “a (religious) ‘economy’: - dispensation, stewardship.”

Paul said, "That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, he might gather together in one all things, both which are in heaven, and which are in earth, even in Christ." (Eph 1:10, GNV).

John Wesley commented on this verse, "That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times" means "In this last administration of God's fullest grace, which took place when the time appointed was fully come."  This is the dispensation we live in today, the final administration of God's grace. The time appointed for it by God was fully come during the life of Christ on earth, and is now about to reach its conclusion. You may not agree with Wesley's viewpoint, but it makes no difference, because I have already proven (without using the word "dispensation") that there are dispensations in the Bible.

In connection with that same passage above in Ephesians, I would also like to present one final passage, in order to further demonstrate that the word "dispensation," or "oikonomia," is in the Word of God. In the third chapter of that same epistle, the apostle used four terms that are synonymous with "dispensation," as shown in the chart below:

Synonymous terms Verse
Dispensation of the fullness of the times "That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, he might gather together in one all things, both which are in heaven, and which are in earth, even in Christ." (Eph 1:10, GNV).
Dispensation of the grace of God "if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you." (Eph 3:2, NKJV).
Mystery of Christ "That by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief. By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,” (Eph 3:3-4, NASB)
The Gospel "This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus." (Eph 3:6, NIV)
Dispensation of this mystery "and to make plain to everyone the administration (oikonomia) of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things." (Eph 3:9, NIVUK)

This chart shows that "the dispensation of the fullness of the times," "the dispensation of the grace of God," "the mystery of Christ," "the gospel," and "the dispensation of this mystery" are all interchangeable expressions. They mean exactly the same thing in this context. What is true of one is true of all five expressions. Therefore, the current dispensation of grace that we are in today was not made known to men in other generations, but was kept hidden in God for ages past as a mystery, only being revealed at the appointed time in the gospel, and is now made plain to everyone through the preaching of the gospel.

Putting it All Together
As we can see, the Lord, as well as the prophets and apostles spoke of times, epochs, days, ages, and years. I don't derive that from any man, but from the Lord and His Word. That's what we've got to base our lives on, rather than the traditions of men.

We have established the fact that there are definitely dispensations in the Bible. Dispensations are not unbiblical or erroneous. That does not mean that I promote any particular brand of dispensational doctrine. It just means that we do not need to be afraid of the concept of dispensations. So as we study God’s Word, we can expect to learn about ages or periods of time when God is dealing with people, including His own people, in a particular way.

Therefore, be free, as you study God’s Word, to learn directly from the Holy Spirit about these interesting, wonderful -- often frightening and terrible, as well as glorious ages. In eternity, which is outside of time, time is not kept by days or weeks or months or years, according to the movements of the sun and moon. But there will always be ages throughout eternity, for Scripture speaks of "the coming ages" (Eph 2:7). God changes not. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Mal 3:6; Heb 13:8). He has always been, is now, and always will be the King of the Ages. "To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen." (1Ti 1:17 ESV).

Understanding the Times

Jesus said, “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as the twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.”  (Mk 13:28).  We need to develop a similar ability to understand the times by what we see, hear, and sense in our spirit.

We must not be like the religious leaders of Jesus' day, who could not discern the signs of the times (Mt 16:2-3). Instead, we must be like the sons of Issachar spoken of in the Bible, who understood the signs of the times, and knew what their nation should do (1 Chr 12:32).

There are various times and seasons that occur on God's timeline.  Some people don't believe there is any such thing as dispensations, but it is right in the Bible. For example, there is "the times of the Gentiles."  Jesus said, "They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." (Lk 21:24, NIV).  The times of the Gentiles began with the salvation of Cornelius and his household in Acts 10, and it continues until it is fulfilled at a future date that is soon approaching.

There is "the time of Jacob's trouble." Jeremiah said, "How awful that day will be! No other will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it." (Je 30:7, NIV).  This is also called the time of punishment.  "For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written." (Luk 21:22, NIV). This period runs concurrent with the time of great distress, known as the Great Tribulation. "For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again." (Mt 24:21). This period will last for a time, times, and a half time, during which the antichrist will reign on earth.

"He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time." (Dan 7:25, NIV).

"The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, 'It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.'” (Dan 12:7, NIV).

"When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus." (Rev 12:14-17, NIV)

The Time of His Return
Jesus said regarding the timing of His future return, “Be on guard.  Be alert.  You do not know when that time will come.” (Mk 13:33). Jesus said that in these last days, there will be “days of vengeance, so that all things which are written will be fulfilled.” (Luk 21:22b).

Just as there were the days of Moses, the days of Noah, and the days of Elijah, there will be the days of the Son of Man, when Jesus returns.  And He said to the disciples, "The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. "They will say to you, 'Look there! Look here!' Do not go away, and do not run after them. "For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day. But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. "And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man." (Luk 17:22-26)

The Millenium
Another time period mentioned in the Scriptures, which is yet future and takes place on earth is called "the thousand years."  Since the word millenium means a thousand years, many people refer to this period as "The Millenium."  It is spoken of in the prophets, as well as the book of Revelation.

And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." (Rev 20:1-10)

As the Scripture says, Christ will reign during "the thousand years" period, and so shall the one who has part in the first resurrection.  The Scripture speaks of "the thousand years" eventually being completed.

Opportunities to Serve and the Judgment Day
The Good Samaritan
We all face the tyranny of the urgent in our lives each day.  It could be a phone call or an errand.  We are often distracted and detoured to the right or the left by the seemingly urgent, and skip what’s important to God.  When we do so, we miss the Lord’s timing.  Instead we need to avoid those distractions and give priority to what God is doing.

When do we do these things that are important to God?  The righteous will ask this same question on the judgment day, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and cloth you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?”  They wanted to know the times when they had obeyed.  Jesus replies, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”  (Mt 25:37-40).

Likewise, the wicked will ask Him when they had failed to do these things.  He will tell them that whatever they did not do for the least of these brothers of His, they did not do for Him.

During our lives on earth, the Lord gives us opportunities to repent and opportunities to obey.  There are times of refreshing that come from the Lord’s presence when we repent and turn to the Lord.  (Acts 3:19).

We as servants of the Lord must perform our duties at the proper time. And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time?" (Luk 12:42)

God's Set Schedule
Both dates and times are on God’s set schedule. Just before Jesus ascended to heaven, the apostles asked Him if He was at that time going to restore the kingdom to Israel. “Then they gathered around him and asked him, ‘Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?’ He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority.’” (Acts 1:6-7, NIV). In this verse, the word “times” is “kairos,” and the word “dates” is “chronos” meaning “a fixed or special occasion; or interval; an individual opportunity; season, space, time, while.”

We don’t usually get advance notice of when these things will happen. Yet in both our actions and our postponements, we may either obey or compromise. While it is not for us to know the times or dates the Father has set, we are still supposed to operate in the timing of the Lord, in step with the Lord, and in the peace of God. (Galatians 5:25).

The Age to Come
I have already mentioned that there are biblical references to various dispensations on God's timeline.  One of them that I did not yet mention specifically is a future period, called "the renewal of all things" or "the regeneration." In the account of the incident when His disciples asked what their reward would be, since they had left everything to follow Him, Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life." (Mt 19:28-29, NIV).

The Greek word for "the renewal of all things" is "paliggenesia", meaning "Rebirth (the state or the act), that is, (figuratively) spiritual renovation; specifically Messianic restoration: - regeneration." (Strongs). The New American Standard Bible and some other versions translate this as "regeneration" in the verse above. The Lord said this regeneration would occur "when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne." Luke's gospel records this same exchange between Jesus and His disciples as follows:

And He said to them, "Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times as much at this time and in the age to come, eternal life."  (Luk 18:29-30).

Here in Luke's account, Jesus referred to "the renewal of all things" as "the age to come".  The word for “age” in this verse is “aion,” meaning “perpetuity (also past); age, course, eternal, (for) ever, ever.” (Strongs). In that "age to come", all things will be renewed for the righteous, and we will inherit eternal life. As the Scripture says:

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, 'Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.' And He who sits on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.' And He said, 'Write, for these words are faithful and true.'" (Rev 21:1-5)

Therefore, this renewal of all things is an age yet to come, when Jesus Christ sits on His glorious throne. Our Lord and His Christ will reign forever and ever, and His kingdom will have no end (Lk 1:33; Rev. 11:15; Exo. 15:18; Psa. 146:10; Mic. 4:7).  How can we begin to grasp eternity or measure it? In heaven there is no time, but rather ages.  One age follows another as God’s program unfolds and His kingdom is advanced, and it goes on for eternity.

Every day that we are given to remain alive on this earth is God's grace to us. It's another opportunity to serve, another opportunity to repent, and another opportunity to obey.  Let's make the most of every opportunity with the Lord's help, practicing righteousness, holiness, and truth, so that we may dwell with Him throughout eternity. Jesus Christ is the one and only Way to heaven.  There isn't any other way that will lead anyone to the Kingdom of God. There is no other way but through Him.
