Jacob's Trouble About to Be Fulfilled

In my last post, I wrote about the Many Revelations Concerning September 2025 Rapture. Today I'd like to corroborate that further by noting some signs indicating that the time of Jacob's Trouble is about to begin.

The prophet Jeremiah predicted the time of Jacob's trouble in Jeremiah 30:7, in which he described a period of intense tribulation and distress for the nation of Israel. It is often associated with the Great Tribulation, which the Lord Jesus prophesied about in Matthew 24:21, a coming period of hardship and persecution for both the Jewish people and all mankind before His return. This time is going to be one of intense suffering, persecution, and warfare, as God's judgments and wrath are poured out, but also a time of divine intervention and ultimate salvation for Israel. 

You don't want to be here for the Great Tribulation, as this is going to be a time of hell on earth, a dystopian world, in which the antichrist will reign globally as an incarnation of satan. He will seek to control the thoughts and activities of everyone who lives upon the earth, and part of his plan to do so includes the mark of the beast that he will require everyone to take.

According to Scripture, the Great Tribulation begins immediately after the rapture of the Body of Christ, in which the saints will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air when He comes for us in the clouds (1 Thes 4:14-18). The rapture will occur at the last trumpet (1 Cor 15:51-53), which is why so many believe it will coincide with the Feast of Trumpets, as the Lord has revealed to numerous believers around the world independently. Therefore, if these revelations are truly from the Lord, then the great Tribulation would begin this fall, after the Feast of Trumpets.

According to the book of Revelation, there is a period of three and a half years or 42 months, when the antichrist will reign, as spoken of in Revelation 13:5. During this period, which is also equal to 1,260 days, the Jews will be taken care of by God in a place that He has prepared for them in the wilderness (Rev 12:6). In the book of Daniel, it speaks of 1,290 days, which some believe to refer to the other half of the Great Tribulation. When we add 1,260 to 1,290, we get 2,550 days.

Interestingly, the period between the first day of the Feast of Trumpets on September 22, 2025 and the Jewish Day of Atonement seven years later in 2032 is exactly 2,550 days. This phenomenon rarely occurs. In fact, it has never occurred prior to Israel returning to the Promised Land in 1948, and has only happened six times since then. This next one spanning from 2025 to 2032 will be the seventh time it has happened since 1948. But there are no future years after 2025 when it will occur, as the specific alignment in September 2025 is a unique event. For example, the number of days from 2026 - 2033 (7 years) between the two holidays is 2578, not 2550 (see here). So this phenomenon will never occur again after this fall, which further lends credence to the many revelations about the rapture possibly occurring next month.

It has also been pointed out by some that 2025 is the 77th anniversary since Israel regained their statehood in 1948. The nation of Israel is named after Jacob, whom God renamed Israel. He was 77 years old when he married Leah and Rachel (see here), who gave birth to the twelve sons of Israel, which became twelve tribes. He had to work another seven years for his father-in-law Laban after he married the two sisters, so he was 84 years old at the end of that seven years. 

Coincidentally Israel will celebrate their 84th anniversary in seven years. Could the next seven years be the time of Jacob's Trouble, which would parallel the period when Jacob encountered those troubles with his father-in-law Laban? We know that during the seven years Jacob worked for his uncle, Laban changed his wages ten times (Gen 31:7), and at the end of that period, Jacob took his wives, children, and all his property, and escaped from Laban without telling him he was leaving. Certainly that was a seven-year time of trouble for Jacob, so it seems reasonable to draw the parallel between his ages at the beginning and end of it, and the anniversary dates of Israel at the beginning and end of the next seven years. If this parallel is valid, and if the time of Jacob's Trouble begins this fall, then Israel would coincidentally be 77 at the beginning of it and 84 at the end of it. This parallel will never again occur at any future point, so it is worth giving it careful consideration, especially in light of all the other signs pointing to the rapture happening next month, including the perfect fit for the 2550 days. 

Moreover, in my related recent article called Many Revelations Concerning September 2025 Rapture, I stated that seven years ago in 2018, the Lord told a man from South Africa named Joshua Mhlakela that when Israel is celebrating their 77th anniversary from the time they were reestablished as a nation in 1948, the "exodus" (i.e., rapture) would occur. It's important to note that Israel is currently celebrating their 77th anniversary this year in 2025. 

Divine Coincidences

The day before I wrote this article, I wrote an article called Jacob Was 77 Years Old When He Married, which I referenced and linked to above in this present article. A few minutes after I wrote that article, I happened to watch the first part of a video on Youtube about the Feast of Trumpets in 2025, after which I was quite amazed to find the following statement in the video comments, which the channel owner left in reply to one of his viewers:

"Jacob (Israel) was 77 when he took his first bride..." That seemed to me like a divine confirmation of the article I had just written. So that occurred last evening.

Then this afternoon, after I wrote this present article about Jacob's Trouble About to Be Fulfilled, while I was praying and seeking the Lord, I glanced over at the thermometer on my desk in front of me in my office, and was amazed to see that the indoor and outdoor temperatures displayed side-by-side were 77 and 84 respectively (photo below)! I knew that was definitely a divine confirmation of this article that I had just written, in which I referenced the numbers 77 and 84 regarding Jacob's age, as well as the age of the nation of Israel. 

[Note: As of September 6, 2025, nearly a month later, I still haven't seen that 77/84 number combination again on my thermometer, since it happened on August 13, 2025.]

Closing Words

I recommend that you please take all of this to the Lord in prayer, and ask Him to confirm to you whether or not it means the rapture will occur in September 2025. Let's not be like the Sadducees and Pharisees, whom Jesus criticized as hypocrites, because they could not interpret the signs of the times, even though they could discern weather patterns in the sky (Mt 16:3; Luke 12:56).

We should always be ready for Jesus' return at any time, watching, praying, and keeping our lamps burning (see video); but I think these are certainly significant warnings that should put us all on high alert for the rapture this September. I am not saying the rapture will occur in September, although I think the probability is extremely high that He will do so. In fact, I think the chances of the rapture not occurring this year are approaching zero. I sense in my spirit, as most of us do, that the time of the rapture is very near, and certainly hope it happens this fall.

Whether you believe it or not, one thing is for sure -- Jesus is coming back soon! You need to get your life right with Jesus right now. Give your life to Jesus before the rapture happens and before the Great Tribulation begins. Repent and return to the Lord with fasting and prayer, seeking His face with all your heart, proving your repentance by your deeds.

Warning Dream: The Tribulation Follows Rapture, Left-Behind Christians Hunted

A preacher, named Francisco, from Mexico was given a dream, in which he saw that the rapture will occur before the Great Tribulation, confirming what the Scriptures say, and what I teach here on this blog, as well as what countless believers have been shown through dreams, visions, and revelations from the Lord. Many Christians will miss the rapture and be left behind.

In his dream, Francisco was shown that the young people, particularly the teens, were the age group that is most likely to miss the rapture of the Church of Jesus and be left behind. Despite having a Christian upbringing, they missed the rapture because of worldliness, listening to secular music, tattoos, disobedience to their parents, and not living in holiness.

He saw that they will be hunted down by the antichrist's minions, and many will be killed. He saw people coming after them with swords, knives, and axes to kill them. But those who are not immediately killed will be tortured to death. They will be put into holes in the ground with a grate over the top, and left there to die of starvation and thirst.

Scripture Proof

If you would like some Scriptures to support this message, here are just a few:

"Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord." (Heb 12:14).

"Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” (Lk 21:36).

"So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him." (Mt 24:44).

"May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones." (1 Thes 3:13).

"He [the beast] was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation." (Rev 13:7)

"If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints." (Rev 13:10)

Conclusion

The proper response to this is for all people to repent and turn to Christ in faith. But the same goes for all believers who are living worldly lives, listening to secular music, disobeying their parents, not listening to them, getting tattoos, not reading their Bibles and praying daily. Repent and return to the Lord with fasting and prayer, seeking His face with all your heart, proving your repentance by your deeds.

The Antichrist

As I wrote in my previous article called The Rise of Antichrists, one of the signs of the times is that there have arisen many different antichrists in these last days. People like Hitler, Stalin, and others come to mind.

As the apostle John wrote: "Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour." (1 Jn 2:18, NIV).

John spoke of many antichrists having already come during the first century, but that "the Antichrist" was yet to come. It is specifically the final antichrist that I want to write about here in this post. The following is an account of dreams dating back to the 1990's that people from around the world have had about Barack Hussein Obama being the antichrist. Over 150 people responded to a Christian lady on You Tube who asked if anyone had dreamed about him.  I tried to evaluate the sources of these dreams and sought to weed out any that were not credible people.  The ones I included were from people who have confessed faith in Jesus Christ (except for the second one shown below).  Let’s review the dreams first, followed by my understanding at the end.  Due to the sheer number of them, I will include the first part of each one here, and the complete account for each one in separate posts. Here they are:

Teenage Girl in 1990's Names the Antichrist to be Elected in 2008
In the 1990’s, a teenage girl named Nicole had a dream, which she posted on Five Doves website on October 8, 2012.  She states: “In the dream I am walking to get out of my house to escape the mediocre lifestyle and be by myself.   All of a sudden a huge TIGER comes on my path to try to devour me.   And I am saying in the dream, IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, DO NOT DEVOUR ME.   And then all of a sudden I am transported to the future.   I see the year 2008 and I see Obama get elected.  Continue reading.

In June 2009, Perry Stone issued a warning about the system of the Pharaohs of Egypt, and how the bondage of Egypt is coming to America.  After that, Obama went to the middle east to give his Israeli/ Palestinian speech and was called, there, the "NEW TUTANKHAMEN OF THE WORLD," which is after the Pharaoh of Egypt "King Tut," who was worshipped as a god.

When Obama went to Egypt on June 3, 2009, he toured the tombs in the pyramids.  While he was in there looking at mummies, an antiquities expert told him he looked like King Tut.  Obama immediately replied, “I’ve been told that.” (see video).

In early to mid 2009, a Christian man named Robert wrote: I had a dream where Obama came to a fellowship gathering inside a BIBLE STUDY, then changed over to a picnic gathering of believers, where Obeast mingled while followed by some relaxed security men. In November 2009, a 28-year-old Christian man named Chris wrote: “I had one disturbing dream where I was sitting on a bus of some sort and there was people seated on each side of the bus and it was a full bus, all the sudden Obama entered the bus..." Continue reading.

In November 2009, a Christian lady, who identifies herself as supernova1800, wrote: “A long time ago I had a dream and cannot remember the dream but...The theme of the dream was that he was a ‘deceiver’ and being two-faced so to speak. I woke up with a warning feeling that he was a deceiver.”

On January 11, 2010, a Christian man (user name dabu) prayed before bed and asked the Lord if He had any visions or dreams He wanted to show him.  Then he had a dream as soon as he fell asleep.  In the dream he and a woman were in a conference room. He was embracing a woman.  In recounting the dream, he indicated that he is single and does not know who this woman in the dream was.  The crowd was cheering for Barack Obama and holding up their index finger as if to indicate he is number one. On November 14, 2010, a Christian lady named Sue Love (described above) wrote in her blog:  I lay in bed praying when I had a vision. THE VISION: I saw the face of a black man. The man was facing west. His face evolved into the face of Obama, and then Obama’s face evolved into several other faces of black men. Then, I saw an angry face of a man.. Continue reading.

"I Want His Crown"
On March 13, 2011, a sister named Sabrina from Belgium had a dream at 5:28 pm.  She wrote: I dreamed that I was laying down and downstairs in my house there were some people talking and one of the people was Obama and he said, “I WANT HIS CROWN,” the sound coming from him was very loud and he said it with anger, then I woke up. This seems to refer to the antichrist wanting Christ's crown.

Antichrist is Finally Revealed
It seems the antichrist wants more than just Christ's crown. He also wants the people's wealth and assets. On April 13, 2012, a Youtube poster going by the name pastor JC posted a video called Antichrist is Finally Revealed. He stated: “I give you the truth about who the antichrist is." Continue reading.

On November 9, 2013, I read that Jesus took Brother Elvi Zapata to the tribulation, in the spirit. It was revealed to Elvi that Barack Obama is the first beast, and Pope Francis the second beast, which is the false prophet (see Revelation 13:15-17). Continue reading.

June 2013, the Lord Jesus visited a tender, fourteen year-old Nigerian boy named Samuel Oghenetega.  He gave him many revelations and even showed him hell.  One of the revelations the Lord spoke to him was about Barack Obama.  Continue reading.

“And I beheld satan…Barack Obama fall down from heaven.”
On November 26, 2013, a Christian lady calling herself kingdomliving771 on YouTube woke up hearing this: “And I beheld satan…Barack Obama fall down from heaven.”  She asked God why she heard that, and she felt that it was because the antichrist is about to be revealed to the world very soon.

Obama as Menorah Candle Lighting Entire World
Tablet Mag reported the following in an article titled: Why Israel’s President Talks To Obama, But Not To Netanyahu, regarding a statement that Israeli President Reuven Rivlin made to Obama at the White House in December 2015: "In the spirit of Hannukah, Rivlin went so far as to tell Obama and the press about the role of  the shamash (attendant) candle on the menorah and to compare the American president to that candle, which lights all the rest and 'shows the way, the right way, to your people and to the entire world.'" In saying this, Rivlin called Obama the light of the world that shows all mankind the right way. However, since Jesus is the Light of the world, it is the spirit of the antichrist to refer to Obama as such (1 Jn 4:3).

Obama Assumes Leadership After Assassination of Trump
A pastor in Australia recorded a dream he had at 2:20 AM Australia time on November 9, 2016, the day that Donald Trump was elected president of the United States. He said: "This morning at 2:20 I woke up shaking quite a bit. It was a dream that I woke up with. And in the dream I saw someone taking a gun and shooting. There was gunfire. This really disturbed me, and I woke up with the question, 'What's that, Lord?' And I had the words flash right in front of my eyes: 'Assassination plot on Donald Trump in the Oval Office.'" On July 28, 2017, I received an email from Gino V, who had just returned to Australia from a missions trip to Romania. He said, "I didn't have many dreams while I was over there, but I had one dream where Obama was a very charming type of person and then he turned into a demon. A little girl had a vision given to her by the Lord, in which she saw the rapture, heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ, the marriage supper of the Lamb, and the Great Tribulation. The Lord also showed her the antichrist, which she knew was Barack Obama. He was seated on a red-and-gold colored throne, wearing a red-and-gold crown. She said, "Then I saw a man walking in. Closing Words
As I mentioned in my introduction, I excluded the dreams recorded by people who did not appear to be genuine disciples of Christ (with one exception).  It is clear that these dreams were very consistent.  The consistent message was that he portrays himself as a great teacher, but is a deceiver and a seducer who wants people to like him so that they can do what he wants.  The dreams clearly indicated that he is of the darkness, not the Light.  He is nothing more than an idol; a fake person; a marionette. He hypnotizes people, and they follow him with adoration, just as they did Hitler.  Yet he will bring terror and destruction to America that will horrify people. Unfortunately people are now more receptive to the messages of the antichrist than messages of God through His servants. Therefore, it will be their own undoing.

We know there are many indications that the bondage of Egypt is coming to America.  History records that the pharaohs taxed the people heavily, put a heavy yoke upon the people’s shoulders, enslaved them, and exercised their power with absolute control.

The apostle Paul taught that a man of lawlessness would come in the last days before Christ’s return.  He said, “At the proper time, then, the Wicked One will appear.” (2 Thes 2:6).  We are not sure if Obama is the wicked one Paul wrote about prophetically.  But there is certainly a large body of evidence that supports that notion.  At this point, all we can do is watch and pray and warn others to do the same.

Paul went on to say that this man would exercise supernatural power.  “The Wicked One will come with the power of Satan and perform all kinds of false miracles and wonders, and use every kind of wicked deceit on those who will perish. They will perish because they did not welcome and love the truth so as to be saved.” (2Th 2:9-10).  This also came up numerous times in the dreams.  There were references to witchcraft, occult activity, fireballs, and sex magic.

Whatever miracles and wonders this man will perform, we know that they will be wicked and result in deception among those who will perish.  That’s because they do not love the truth, so the Lord sends them a strong delusion.  As Paul puts it: “For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.” (2Th 2:11-12)

Be on the alert! Let’s not be deceived like the masses.  And let’s pray that the Lord exposes everything that is of darkness in our government leaders.  Pray the Lord will bring conviction for sin among our leaders and lead them to repentance. Pray that the Truth would reign upon the earth.

However, not everyone is ready. I hope that you have found these helpful. If you are not ready, then you need to be, because you don't want to be here for the Great Tribulation. As Jesus said, "For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again." (Mat 24:21). I don't know how much of the judgments the Bride of Christ is going to be here for, but I do know the Lord is going to take his pure, spotless Bride up to heaven before the Father pours out His wrath.

Closing Words
No man knows the day or the hour when Jesus will come, but we do know from Scripture that He is coming soon. And He continues to repeat that urgent message to His saints through dreams, visions, and prophecies. We also know that Scripture clearly commands us to be ready for His return.

Jesus said, "So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him." (Mat 24:44)

God is about to send His judgments upon the land, which will include cataclysms such as economic collapse, famine, war, foreign troops on American soil, nuclear weapons detonated over American cities, civil war, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis on both the east and west US coasts, volcanoes, asteroids, and contagious disease epidemics of the natural and man-made kind.

If you are away from the Lord in a backslidden state, or if you have never given your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you have never been born again, then I urge you to repent right now and ask Him for forgiveness. Turn your whole life over to Him, ask Him to come live inside your heart and take control of your life for you.

God loves you and Jesus loves you. He died on the cross for you and bore all your sins there. He rose from the dead and appeared alive to many people. He is exalted to the right hand of God, and He is coming back soon. There's no time left to waste. This post could be your final warning.

2 End Time Dreams/Giant Black Horse NY!

I would just like to say a brief word about that last one regarding the black horse, which the brother had in September 2019. If this brother actually saw the black horse of Revelation 6 that comes forth when the third seal is opened, then that would indicate that the third seal has been opened. The fact that the black horse was in New York city, which is the financial capital of this country and the rest of the world, fits perfectly with the economic turmoil that will come when the third seal is opened. Scripture says:

"When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, 'Come!' I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, 'A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!'" (Rev 6:5-6)

Closing Words

Of course, some will scoff and say that none of these visions and dreams are from God, which would mean that all these people coincidentally had dreams and visions about the same topics, which are all coincidentally spoken about in Scripture. I personally believe these dreams and visions are a fulfillment of what the Lord promised in Joel 2 and Acts 2 that His people would have dreams and visions in the last days, when He pours out His Spirit on us. I have also had a rapture dream, which was confirmed by two amazing coincidences on the same day. I have written about it in my article called Are You Rapture Ready?  It carries the same message as the testimonies in the videos above, and is confirmed by the 444 Rapture video above. If you haven't read that dream of mine yet, I strongly suggest it. You'll be blessed if you do!

Darkened Skies in the Last Days

During the last days, the skies will be darkened to the point where it will be like midnight in the middle of the day. Many people have seen this in visions and dreams, but here are some Scriptures that say so.

Jesus said, "Immediately after the distress of those days 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'" (Mat 24:29)

"The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine." (Joe 3:15)

"I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD." (Joe 2:30-31)

"Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand— a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness..." (Joe 2:1-2a)

"Will not the day of the LORD be darkness instead of light, Even gloom with no brightness in it?" (Amo 5:20)

"In that day," declares the Sovereign LORD, "I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight." (Amo 8:9)

"The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light."  (Isa 13:10)

"I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone. I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying. I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away. I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the LORD, before his fierce anger. This is what the LORD says: 'The whole land will be ruined, though I will not destroy it completely. Therefore the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will not relent, I have decided and will not turn back.' At the sound of horsemen and archers every town takes to flight. Some go into the thickets; some climb up among the rocks. All the towns are deserted; no one lives in them." (Jer 4:23-29)

"Give glory to the LORD your God before He brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but He will turn it to utter darkness and change it to deep gloom." (Jer 13:16)

"When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light. All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you; I will bring darkness over your land, declares the Sovereign LORD." (Eze 32:7-8)

"The great day of the LORD is near— near and coming quickly. The cry on the day of the LORD is bitter; the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry. That day will be a day of wrath— a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness— a day of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers. 'I will bring such distress on all people that they will grope about like those who are blind, because they have sinned against the LORD. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their entrails like dung. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the LORD's wrath.' In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth." (Zep 1:14-18)

"When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss." (Rev 9:2)

"I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind." (Rev 6:12-13).

The following passage also seems to allude to the time of the Lord's return:

"The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry. Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it. He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet. He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind. He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him— the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning. The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded. He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning he routed them. The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at your rebuke, LORD, at the blast of breath from your nostrils. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me." (Psa 18:7-17)

Closing Words
Based on these Scriptures, we know a day is definitely coming when the sky will be completely darkened, and this will be a sign of Christ's soon return. It will be a day of clouds and blackness, a day of darkness and gloom.

On a related note, this same phenomenon occurred when Jesus hung upon the cross, two thousand years ago, and took the punishment for our sins. He felt what it was like to be forsaken by God at that moment. It says:

"At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?' (which means 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?')." (Mar 15:33-34)

No greater love has any man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. Jesus Christ laid down His life for you. Sin separates us from God, and Jesus took all our sins upon Himself on the cross. He took the punishment for our sins, so that we don't have to spend eternity in hell, separated from God. He died for us and rose again, so that all who believe in Him would not perish but have eternal life.

Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near. Don't delay your decision. It's going to get dark soon. Call upon Jesus' name today. Believe me, you don't want to go through the Great Tribulation with its darkness and separation from God. That will be the hour when darkness reigns on the earth. And if you die without Christ, then you will be doomed to spend eternity in hell. Yes, hell is real, and the reason I am warning you is that I don't want you to go to that terrible place. I want you to come to know, as I have, that Jesus' light is greater than the deepest darkness.

Is Repentance Possible During the Great Tribulation?

Someone has asked me whether it is possible to repent during the Great Tribulation or whether it will be too late to do so. One reason for this question was the part of Angelica Zambrano's Testimony of her Rapture Revelation that I wrote about in my article, in which she stated:

"After the Rapture, I observed enormous traffic with thousands of people.  He told me, 'Daughter, look, this is how everything will happen.' I then saw people running from one place to another, shouting, 'Christ came, Christ came!'  They would plead, 'Lord, forgive me, forgive me, take me with You!'"

"But sadly the Lord said, 'It will be too late. The time to repent is now...Daughter, go tell humanity to seek Me, for during that time there will no longer be opportunity. (Isaiah 55:6)  Daughter, it will be too late for all those that stay behind.' When Jesus observed how people were left behind, He began to weep and said, 'Daughter, I will go to Earth as it says in 1 Thes.  4: 16-17 : “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”'"

Angelica continued, "But not everyone will go with the Lord, only those who are doing His will (Matthew 7:21) and living a holy life.  For the Lord told me, 'Only those that are holy will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, (Hebrews 12:14), No one knows, neither the day nor the hour in which I will go for My holy people, not even the angels know it.'" (Matthew 24:36)

The Lord told Angelica that people will try to seek the Lord and repent after the rapture, asking Him to take them up, too. But it will be too late. He quoted the passage in Isaiah that says, "Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near." (Isa 55:6). This means there is a time when the Lord may be found, which is now, and that is the time to seek Him. It also means there is a time when the Lord cannot be found and it is too late to seek Him. He mentioned this specifically in reference to the period of Great Tribulation after the rapture. That is a very solemn warning and is not to be taken lightly! It is the same warning given by the Lord in His parable of the Ten Virgins. He said:

"Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. But at midnight there was a shout, 'Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.' Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the prudent, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the prudent answered, 'No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.' And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. Later the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, lord, open up for us.' But he answered, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.' Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour." (Mat 25:1-13)

The return of the Bridegroom is the return of Christ. The wise virgins were ready when the Bridegroom came, because they took oil in flasks with their lamps. In order to do so, they had to go out and buy it first. They are the wise servants of Christ who seek the Lord now while He may be found, in order to buy oil from Him, which indicates being prepared in advance. The foolish virgins were not ready when the Bridegroom came, because they did not make preparations by bringing extra oil with them. They are the believers who at one time were ready but are no longer filled with the Spirit, because they have not been seeking the Lord. They will come seeking Him when He returns, saying, "Lord, lord, open up for us. Take us up in the rapture, too." But it will be too late for them. There will be no opportunity. The door will be shut, and the Lord will answer, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you." That is why we must be on the alert for the Lord's return, since we do not know the day or the hour.

On the one hand, it is my understanding from Scripture that it would be theoretically possible to repent during the Great Tribulation. There will likely be people who will come to know Christ during the Great Tribulation and will need to repent in order to do so. As for those who have once known Christ and miss the rapture, it seems to me that missing the rapture is not necessarily the unforgivable sin, and it would seem they should be able to repent while they still have breath. However, they will not be able to go up in the rapture after they have missed it. At that point it will be too late, and they will have to go through the Great Tribulation. They will have to bear their disgrace and the consequences for their detestable practices.

On the other hand, there are also Scriptures that teach that a person can reach a point where they are unable to repent, so we should not rule out this possibility for those who come to know Christ before the Great Tribulation and miss the rapture, because they have fallen away, insulted the Spirit of grace, trampled underfoot the Son of God, and regarded as unclean the blood of Christ that once sanctified them. The apostle wrote:

“For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.” (Heb 6:4-6)

“How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay.’ And again, ‘The Lord will judge His people.’ It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”  (Heb 10:29-31)

In his excellent book, Voices from the Edge of Eternity, Dr. John Meyers documented the deathbed experiences of many people, including devout Christians, reprobates, and atheists. While it is not unusual for devout Christians like D.L. Moody to have glorious experiences at their moment of death, there are numerous accounts of ungodly people who had horrifying experiences. Some of them knew that they should repent and accept Christ, and in some cases they were admonished to do so by a believer, but it was impossible for them to repent. Instead they had only a certain terrifying expectation of judgment and a raging fire that will consume God's enemies (Heb 10:27). During their lifetime they had hated the Light and loved darkness. They had spurned the repeated convictions of the Holy Spirit, and on their deathbed they knew that He had departed from them forever, leaving them alone to die in their sin.

As the Lord Jesus said, "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."  (Joh 3:19-21)

You see, when those who have known Christ miss the rapture, it indicates they loved darkness rather than Light. Their deeds are evil, which indicates they hate the Light in spite of what they may say with their lips. Such a person does not come into the Light for fear of exposure. That would explain why there would be little or no repentance happening during the Great Tribulation. The Scriptures bear this out:

“The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.” (Rev 9:20-21)

In spite of all the plagues God sends during the time of His wrath on the earth, it says that those who are not killed by the plagues still will not repent. This is similar to what God said would happen when He punished Israel for their sin. He said to Ezekiel:

"'Or if I should send a plague against that country and pour out My wrath in blood on it to cut off man and beast from it, even though Noah, Daniel and Job were in its midst, as I live,' declares the Lord GOD, 'they could not deliver either their son or their daughter. They would deliver only themselves by their righteousness.' For thus says the Lord GOD, 'How much more when I send My four severe judgments against Jerusalem: sword, famine, wild beasts and plague to cut off man and beast from it! Yet, behold, survivors will be left in it who will be brought out, both sons and daughters. Behold, they are going to come forth to you and you will see their conduct and actions; then you will be comforted for the calamity which I have brought against Jerusalem for everything which I have brought upon it. Then they will comfort you when you see their conduct and actions, for you will know that I have not done in vain whatever I did to it,' declares the Lord GOD." (Eze 14:19-23)

This passage in Ezekiel indicates that when God sends his wrath to punish His people and cut off the wicked and ungodly ones, there is nothing you can do to stop it. Judgment is inescapable! Nevertheless, survivors will be left who will be brought out. These are the ones who sincerely repent, the fruit of which is then observed in their conduct and actions. This tells me that God always has a remnant who seek Him. But that means there will be very few survivors, because a remnant is a small portion of the whole.

The way I see it is like this. If a person who has once been enlightened and has tasted of the heavenly gift and has been made partaker of the Holy Spirit, and has tasted the good Word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then has fallen away, that indicates their spiritual condition is too weak to endure when times are relatively peaceful compared to what the Great Tribulation will be like. Therefore, once such a person enters the Great Tribulation when the wrath of God is coming down and the beast is forcing everyone to take his mark, how will such spiritually dead people survive? As the Scripture says:

"If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?" (Jer 12:5)

It would seem to me that most, if not all such people, would be too weak to resist the mark of the beast and stand for Christ in the midst of intense persecution, suffering, wrath, and judgment. Most will be too weak to resist the temptation to worship the beast or his image. They are not strong enough to give their lives for Christ as martyrs. Such people typically take the easy way out like most people do. They take the wide road that leads to destruction. As Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Mat 7:13-14).

Guillotine

Those who refuse the mark of the beast will not be able to buy or sell without it and they will be beheaded for their testimony, which will make it very difficult for anyone to resist the temptation to take the mark, especially if they are already spiritually weak or dead. Everyone will be in survival mode. That is why patience and endurance will be required on the part of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Scripture says:

"Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, 'If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.' Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus." (Rev 14:9-12).

This clearly says that anyone who worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, will be tormented with fire and brimstone forever and ever. However, Scripture teaches us that there will be saints who refuse the mark and who maintain their testimony for Christ in the midst of that terrible period of tribulation.

“Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” (Rev 20:4)

We know that some people will come to know Christ during the Great Tribulation, so this passage could be referring to those people. I am not saying that it is impossible to repent during the Great Tribulation, but I am saying there are many Scriptures that certainly suggest it may be impossible to do so, or that very few will do so. While we can sit and theorize about it and rationalize, based on our limited knowledge and understanding, in order to postulate whether repentance is possible for Christians who miss the rapture, I think the best approach is to repent now and live holy, godly lives in Christ, as we wait for the Lord Jesus to come from heaven and rescue us from the coming wrath (1 Thes 1:10). As Peter said,

“Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!” (2Pe 3:11-12)

“You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” (2Pe 3:17-18)

If it turns out that it is impossible or nearly impossible to repent during the Great Tribulation, you should not find out the hard way by ending up there yourself. Why risk losing your soul? Don't be like the foolish virgins. Now is the day of salvation! The apostle Paul said:

“And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain-- for He says, ‘At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you.’ Behold, now is ‘the acceptable time,’ behold, now is ‘the day of salvation.’” (2Co 6:1-2)

Now is the time to seek the Lord, asking Him to do whatever it takes to make sure you are ready for the rapture. Ask Him to grant you the glorious  Baptism with the Holy Spirit and the Holy Fire Baptism, both of which you need in order to be ready. For you will receive power from on high when the Holy Spirit comes on you (Ac 1:8).

I close with the words the Lord said to Angelica: "It will be too late. The time to repent is now...Daughter, go tell humanity to seek Me, for during that time there will no longer be opportunity. (Isaiah 55:6)  Daughter, it will be too late for all those that stay behind."

If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.
